Chapter 6: Intensity

Taehyung sighed deeply as he walked to the door. Jimin smiled brightly.

"Hey! What are you up to?" He looked down seeing the pair of shoes. "Who's here?"

Taehyung rubbed the back of his neck. "J-Jin Hyung," He did his best to sound natural.

Jimin cocked an eyebrow. "Jin Hyung? Why is he here?"

"We were just talking. I found out Dowon is dating his cousin and we go to the same uni."

"I see..." They walked into the kitchen where Seokjin was sipping water.

"Hey Jiminie." The alpha said casually as they hugged.

"So when did you two become friends?" He cocked an eyebrow.

"We can't be friends?" Seokjin tilted his head and Jimin sighed.

"I didn't mean that. Sorry. Anyway, what were you guys talking about?" He sat at the island.

"We were talking about some of the parties my cousin throws."

"Yeah, they're really fun." Taehyung smiled.

"That's cool I guess..." Jimin said. "Oh Tae, how was the paint date, you and Jae Hyung have been a few times together right?"

The omega swallowed hard, he wasn't sure if Jimin felt it or not but the hair on his skin rose as Seokjin's pheromones suddenly became strong.

He forced a smile. "Yeah we have, it's fun you guys should go."

"Maybe we can go together with the guys."

Taehyung gave a sheepish smile. "Maybe."

Seokjin stretched his arms. "I won't get in the way of you guys. I was just stopping by to say hi."

"Thanks for stopping by Hyung." Taehyung slowly looked at him.

"No problem. See you Jiminie." He gave the omega a hug and left.

Once the door shut Jimin turned to Taehyung who was drinking his water.

"What in the world? You guys really became close?"

"We're not close really...as I said his cousin is dating Dowon so when I hang out with Dowon I sometimes see him."

"Hmmm," Jimin replied. "You're not into him or anything, are you?"

Taehyung laughed. "Where is this coming from suddenly?"

"Because I know you and I know the type of alphas you're weak against. My brother definitely falls under that category."

Taehyung kinda hated how well Jimin knew him. He just shrugged. "It's not like that."

"Remember Jin Hyung will break your heart. He can't be faithful so he can't give you what you want."

Taehyung nodded. "Yeah...hey, wanna go to the arcade?"

"And kick your ass relentlessly? Sure!"

"No way! I'm gonna kick your ass!" He grabbed his jacket and they ran to Jimin's car.

Taehyung walked into his house after Jimin dropped him. He plopped on the bed and stared at the ceiling. He wanted to tell Jimin many times about him and Seokjin but the more his best friend talked about him dating Jaehwa, the more he lost courage.

He sighed deeply. His cell phone vibrated. He looked at the message.

Jin: Can we talk?
