The rain hammered against the dark, dimly moon-lit streets, rapidly enlarging the puddles already formed from the constant rain, as the black cloaked figure crouched on top of the lamp post that never shone due to the broken bulb that had never been replaced - a large grin stretched across his face under his mask as he looked straight towards the door of 28 Dragarath Street."The best kept secret is coming... and everyone will know our name." The man stated before he and his cloak seemingly drifted off as black smoke before none of it remained - the street was again desolate as it was this late at night in the dead area that was Dragarath Street. Nobody wanted to live here, not if they had a choice - it was known as a cheapskate area with a high crime rate due to the drop outs that had nowhere to turn except for crime. Most children raised in this area grew up to be just like the raisers because they knew nothing else - however, of course, there was always an exception to things.

Noah lay wide awake on his small singular bed, situated in the very corner of his small rectangular room, looking straight up at the ceiling - tonight, he couldn't sleep. He didn't know what it was, or why it was, but he just didn't feel tired at all and any time he tried to close his eyes and drift off, he would just lay there and go into a trail of thought without actually falling asleep. He sat up and looked out of his window in boredom, and raised his eyebrows and squinted as he saw something like black smoke drift off towards the sky, but when it faded away in mere seconds he just shrugged and assumed it was something to do with the illusion of the light. This time standing up, he stretched his arms, upwards and sideways, and walked over towards the windowsill, taking his watch that probably was outclassed about twenty years ago, and strapping it around his wrist.
He strode over to his light switch, pressing it as the light flickered on before staying on, illuminating the room so he could see around properly - he looked towards his dirty mirror and surveyed himself. Noah had a set of brown eyes that were more on the orange tinted side, with natural black hair that was quite messy after laying around on his pillow trying to sleep for a few hours. He stood at around five foot ten, which was quite good for his age, 15, and he still had room to grow.
After looking at his mirror for a short while, he bent down and picked up his shirt that hadn't been washed yet and pulled it on over his head, taking his jacket and slipping it over himself - he was planning to go to the 24/7 store because it was clear at least to himself that he wasn't going to get any sleep at all at the moment and he wanted to do something that would be better than laying around doing nothing. He slowly opened his door, making sure it didn't creak so it had no chance of waking up his brother who was the owner of the house, as he as slowly as possible turned his light switch off, making the room go back into darkness again, before he took a step out into the landing and shut his door as silently as possible. One step at a time, he slowly descended the stairs, his left hand in his pocket and his other out so he could open the door when he reached it.
Once he reached the bottom of the stairs, he headed straight to the front door, turning around into the corridor and seeing his brother standing right in front of him with a knife, facing the front door - his brother also had black hair, but stood at around six foot two with dark brown eyes. Upon feeling his presence, Noah's brother spun around, knife in hand, as Noah looked on in surprise that his brother was carrying a knife, as he took one step back,
"Stop. Stand still." His brother demanded with a hint of urgency and anger in his voice as he slowly approached Noah, knife still held high,
"What are you doing?" Noah inquired with a slight tone of surprise - the heck was going on? He took another reproachful step backwards, not wanting that knife to go anywhere near him. Taking his left hand out of his pocket, he held both hands up in a surrendered stance, not wanting anything bad to happen - he knew his brother was a ticking time bomb. One thing could set off his extreme, fiery anger issues: not to say Noah didn't have any anger problems, but he had nothing of the scale his brother had, and that was clear by the fact that he was for some reason holding a knife,
