Spring Day [Complete]

Blossom. 360 words

The soft pitter patter of rain had woken up Type from his slumber. He glanced at the clock beside him and saw that it was past 3 AM. Knowing that he wouldn't fall asleep again, he stood up from his bed and went to his table.  

It has been half a year since he was confined at the hospital. Techno had taken it to himself to guard Type ever since. It was funny if Type's being honest. 

Because Type knows that he wouldn't do it again. 

When Techno woke up and saw Type sitting, he burst out in tears. Blabbering how he almost lost Type and how can Type not asked for help. They were bestfriends for god's sake. He always asked for Techno's help, why stop now? 

A sob choked Type as he watches Techno cried in front of him. 

'You're important to me, Type. If Tharn can't see that, please let him go.' 

And he did. 

Type cried hard that day, hugging Techno with all his might, murmuring apologies.

Maybe seeing Tharn happy with someone else had pushed Type to move on. Maybe the guilt of making Techno cry did it. Maybe talking to a psychiatrist about what had happened helped. 

There's a lot of maybes but it was better than the nevers that was there before. 

Type thought that it was a slow process, but he healed. One step at a time.

With his friends and family by his side.

Without Tharn.

He had finally let go of what was not his anymore.

Maybe one day when he meet Tharn, he can smile at him.

'Cause at the end of the day, Tharn taught him how to love and be loved without expecting anything at all.

Cause Tharn taught him that love is selfless. It is giving.

Cause Tharn taught him that love is unconditional.

Its like a flower that should blossom between two people, strong enough not to break against the harshest weather  but must bend to withstand the strongest wind.

Tharn taught him that for him to love others, he must also love himself.

And maybe, this is the greatest gift that Type has ever received.
