Chapter 4 - Siblings Meeting

Where am I?

Near woke up from the nurses bed feeling a bit dizzy. He tried to stand up but his body felt so weak.

"Near please rest. You still haven't recovered yet"

Near heard a familiar voice coming from his left direction and from that surprise he saw someone he knew. A girl with straight silver white hair. Her eyes is as red as the crimson flames and her skin is white like snow. Her figure is like a doll and has big chests.

"Leana!?"

Seeing her made Near happy that made him cry with joy. He hugs her tightly like there was no tomorrow.

"I didn't expect to see you here"

"Well Father told me to give u something that you might needed. He also asked me to seal your identity as a Roswell so starting today I'm working here a an assistant nurse"

"I see. So that means i can finally visit you everyday"

"Not everyday you silly. You still have classes to attend so you cant come here regularly"

"That's a shame. Anyway what did uncle send me? Is it a gift?"

"I think its some kind of sword that came from your father. Since your a student here you cant use your magic as a Roswell. So instead he sent you this saber"

"A saber?"

"That saber is consist of three different forms. It can become a gun or even a knife depends on your choice"

"I see. I didn't expect to wield a modified weapon but since its related to magic i guess i can get used to it"

"Anyway Near i've been wondering. Whats that rings and chains stuck at your fingers?"

"I don't know. Just now i was attacked by demons while walking back to the dorm and when i was about to be killed this chains suddenly appeared and bounded my whole arm"

"Near the symbol of that logo is one of th-"

The moment when Leana was about to finish a person suddenly entered the room without any warning. Semiramis, The chairman of the school.

"That chain you have there is one of the seven weapons of God's fury. The last hidden weapon that past centuries ago"

Leana and Near was surprised when they heard it. Near quickly tried to remove those chains but it wont even move.

"How can I get this thing out?"

"You can get it off as long you didn't form a contract with its circle"

"Oh you mean that pentagram?"

"So you already came in contact with it, There no way to remove that chains anymore"

"What!? Then that means it will continue sucking my energy?"

"There another way to remove that weapon, But i think you wont even do that."

"Tell me please"

"You have to cut your hands. Its the only way to remove that"

"Your gotta be kidding me right? There no way I'm doing that to my hand'

"I already new your going to say that but we have no choice'

Leana cuts trough there conversation and tries to say something out of the blue.

"Um guys what about using Near's ability?"

"What do you mean lady?"

"Near has a hidden ability in his right eye, an ability no negate any supernatural such as magic but we Lainsworth sealed it to cover his identity"

"I see I forgot he was a Roswell, I guess there is a way to remove that weapon. What do you think Near?"

Semiramis looks at Near the moment She and Leana found a conclusion to remove it to his hand. without any second thoughts Near finally have his answer.

"I understand, Unseal the restrictions of my abilities. but at least hide the color of my right eye so that no one can notice who I am."

Leana created a circle around using a chalk carved with the bones of the serpent and started her spell to unseal Near's abilities.

From the gate of heaven

To the doors of hell

The cycle of life and its tale

The seal of the lion that gave no land

unbound this curse to thee end

The circle started to glow as Leana finished her incantation. Near's right eyes soon became red bit by bit as they continue the chant to unseal his abilities.

After a few more incantation the circle finally disappeared and Near's right eye turned blood red. The chant was successfully completed but the chains still remains to his hands.

"Near I'm sorry I cant do anything about the color of your right eye. My magic cant handle its power and i cant even remove those chains bounded to your right hand, I'm very sorry"

Leana looks down as she apologizes to Near that saddened her very much. But Near didn't complain and instead he smiles at her and thanked her for the thing she did to him.

"How are you feeling Near? Does it hurt?"

"Well not anymore, This weapon doesn't suck my energy anymore because of my ability. Still i can feels its power flowing to my veins"

"I see. Since you have one of those seven weapons I guess i should request a friend of mine to teach you how to used it. Its better than throwing it away. it would be a good practice as a contractor don't you think?"

"You have a point, anyway Leana does this nurse office have any eye patches? I need to hide my right eye just in case"

"Sure i just get it on the drawers just wait"

Leana steps back from Near wiping of her tears and started looking for the eye-patch.

"Anyway Semiramis, Who's that person that's going to help me use this weapon???"

"You'll know soon enough, oh i think you forgot something"

"What do you mean?"

"You have a Duel with miss Stuart right? I think shes been waiting for you at the arena already"

"Oh crap I forgot about her"

I hope this new weapon would help me in battle

Muttering that, Near left the Nurse's office when he received the eye-patch form Leana and heads to the stage of his duel, Using the new and old ability he have now.
