Morgan's Point of View:

I woke up with a massive migrane. I was awake but I couldn't see anything. All I heard was beaping from a machine. I tried to move, but was restrained. It was like I told my legs to move but my brain wasn't having it. It wasn't long before I heard someone talking to me.

"Morgan, why did you have to be so stupid? Dammit!" The deep voice said. I was so confused.

What did I do to him? I tried to move again but I couldn't. The voice continued to talk.

"I should've cared for you, like I was supposed to." The man said.

"I should've confessed my feelings for you sooner. Not while you're in the hospital, drifting away. " He took a deep breathe.

"Morgan, I'm sorry this had to happen to you. I didn't know you long but, I had feelings for you. The way you smiled just could light up any room. You were the one that I considered actually settling down with. Many don't believe in love at first sight, but shit, when I seen you, I knew I would love you. I knew that one day we'd be on our honeymoon together. " He said.

"Shit." I heard him mumble.

I couldn't put a face to his voice, but he sounded so familar. He sounded so sincere, and geninune. Shit. Who the hell is it?

I began to grow anxious and tried to move, and to my surprise, I did.

I heard the man yell to the nurse. I heard someone run in the room, and I'm guessing it was the nurse.

"She kicked her leg. She just did it!" The man semiscreamed.

"Are you okay, Ms. Madison?" the woman that I'm assuming was the nurse, asked.

"W-w-water" I croaked out.

"Okay, one second."

She came back about a minute later, I couldn't see her but I could feel her prescene.

"Can you drink it yourself, or do you need help? She asked.

"I-I-I can't s-s-see you." I croaked.

She gasped and helped me sit up. She then put a cup to my mouth, and I slowly drank it down. After I was done, she told me she was going to get the doctor.

I honestly didn't understand why I could do anything but see. I really wanted to know who was in the room with me.

Jackson's Point Of View

I was in the hospital, pouring my heart out to a barely conscious Morgan and halfway through she moved her leg. I jumped up and called for the nurse. I was extremely happy that she was recovering. I couldn't lose her without telling her how I feel. The nurse quickly came in and got water for Morgan. When Morgan said she couldn't see anything, I almost broke down inside. I swear if this dude beat her until she was blind, I was going to have my brother on his ass. Better yet, I'll be on his ass, like white on rice. Jacob was going to pay for putting her through all of this shit.

The doctor soon came in and examined Morgan's body and asked her questions. He ran a few tests on her, and I was just waiting on the results to come back.

.

Three hours later the doctor came back in with a hurt look on his face. He looked at her, then directed his attention back to me.

"I'm sorry to inform you, but I think she's blind...." He spoke.

I dropped to the ground, and fell on my knees.

"What do you mean, 'blind'?" I asked, hoping he was just kidding.

"Well, sir, Ms. Madison is blind, temporarily." He said. I knew it was hurting him to tell me this.

"Is there anyway she can recover from this?" I asked.

"We're going to keep her a couple more days, and if her sight doesn't come back, we'll place her in therapy... and we'll see where things go from there." He spoke.

I sighed and got up off the floor. I went over to Morgan and kissed her forehead.

"I'll be back later, I promise" I said to her.

I needed time to process what the doctor told me.

"Thank you Doc, I'll be back later." I said as I walked out of the hospital room.
