Gamer: Sorry, but you have to go to school.
Vicki: Fine. (gets up) I did the laundry yesterday so my uniforms are clean.
Gamer: That's awesome!
Vicki: When's dad coming home?
Gamer: He can come early today. He'll probably be here by the time you're back from school.
Vicki: (really happy) I wanna be just like him when I grow up! Exploring the different timelines and all!
Gamer: (chuckles) My sisters do that too, you know. I do it on the days that Aunt Aless can take care of you.
Vicki: That sounds so awesome!!!!!!
Gamer: Ha! Wait till you meet the girl version of your dad.
Vicki: I CAN'T WAIT!
Vicki: (gets her backpack on and runs to the door)
Gamer: WAIT.
Vicki: Huh?
Gamer: Give your mom a hug. Now.
Vicki: Mom! (hugs)
Gamer: Ok, sweetie. Remember,
Vicki and Gamer: Life is like a videogame, every day is a new level. No matter how many mistakes you make, you'll always respawn.
Vicki: Ok, bye mom! (runs out the door and just barely catches the bus to school)
PS: Just so you know, That quote up there is something that Gamer and Glitch have said to Vicki ever since she was 2 years old. Vicki says it to herself whenever she's nervous or stressed.
