Love Between Packs

Chapter 1

Cora POV

Hi, my name is Cora Hale. I'm the daughter of the Alpha of the Moon pack. And today was the day that I'd find my mate, I just hope it isn't one of those superficial boys who go to school with me. Since I'm already 18 I will find my mate tonight in the ball that is hosted every year in my pack house and joins multiple packs there. Almost all of the packs in our country. Almost. All except the Blood Moon pack. I don't exactly know why my dad hates them so much, I mean, its not my place to question him but...what if my mate is from that pack? Highly unlikely but it could happened. Anyways, I'm thinking on what to wear for the ball tonight. After a few minutes it came to my mind that my mother had given me a dress before she died, she said it was only for special occasions. This is a special occasion and I am a girl who has nothing to wear so I put on the dress.

*Cora's dress for the ball*

I like it so much!!! now I can find my mate in style. Then I'm pulled out of my thoughts by my dad who came at my door. "Cora are you ready for the ball?" he asked me. "Yes dad I am!" I said full of excitement. I'm gonna explain, you see I am that girl who dreams of finding her mate, get married, have kids and live happily forever. Ahhhh but that just happens in fairy tails. Tonight's gonna be much more complicated than that.

I headed into the ballroom and it was full of people. I don't how am I supposed to find my mate in this crowd. I sigh. I guess it's worth the shot.

A few hours later

4 hours. 4 f*cking hours and not one male has caught my attention or vice versa. I need to find my mate I can't be single forever. Okay Cora, deep breath and calm down. I gonna go outside for a while....

I reached the forest and rested agains a tree. I was starting to fall asleep until a rustling noise came from deeper in the woods. Of course I starting feeling scared. A wolf appears in front of me and was gonna attack me when suddenly a back was facing me. Then they started to fight each other.

When the fight ended I was on the floor crying of fear. The male who saved me turned to me and said "Hey, it's okay. I'm Blake Whites what's your name?" he asked me. "C-C-Cora Hale" she responded."I'm gonna help you can you please tell me witch pack are you from?" "Moon Pack".

Suddenly Blake went stiff. "W-What's wrong?" I asked "Nothing you need to worry about. It's just my pack and yours have a huge disagreement, I'm from the Blood Moon Pack, and I don't think I should come across the barrier more than I already have. Come on we need to get you to safety there are rogues around here." he said and extended a hand to me. As soon as I touched him I felt sparks. OH MY GOD he's my mate!! Finally I've found him.

He must've felt the sparks too because the next thing he did was kiss me on the lips and, of course, I kissed back! when we pulled away he said to me "I never thought my mate would be from a rival pack, but I'm gonna do everything in my power for us to stay together, I promise." I nodded, he was being so sweet to me, my dad always told me that the wolves from their pack were heartless but now that I met him I'm beggining to think that everything he said to me was a lie.

Blake helped me get up and I led him to my house. When we got inside my dad was there along with my oldest brother. In total I have four brothers, the oldest is Scott Hale he's 27 years old, the second oldest Nate Hale he's 23 years old, Im the next one, I am 18 and the (middle child yes) and last but not least the twins. The twins are Luke and Liam and they're both 16 years old.

So when we entered the house my dad and Scott looked at Blake and both of them started to growl at him. I stood in front of him and said "Don't kill him please. He's my mate!" I yelled for them to hear. They all stayed in shock until my dad spoke "Get out of my house!! And you to Cora, since you're so determined in protecting him you can go with him too!" my dad yelled at me. I started crying as soon as he said those words and my knees broke down but luckily Blake caught me and ran out of my house in direction of his pack house. I knew he was related to an Alpha since his scent was stronger than most werewolf males.

We reached his house and I continuing crying until I fell asleep in his arms.

~~~~~ In The Morning ~~~~~

I woke up to feel strong muscled arms wrapped around me instantly, by the scent, I knew it was Blake. I looked at him just to see him looking down at me too. I smiled. He smiled. He kissed me. I kissed back, obviously. This started to get heated then he reached to take my sweater off, then my jeans, then my underwear.....you see where this is going so I am keeping the details to myself thank you very much ; )

~~~~~ 1 Month Later ~~~~~

I am still in the Blood Moon pack and so you know Blake has already marked me and I him. Ahhh and one more thing I think I'm pregnant. No one knows still. I just did a test like 5 minutes ago. My relationship with my dad is still the same and I don't know if this is going to help or make it worse, my brothers still talk to me they secretly visit me without my dad knowing. I'm gonna tell them at the same time as my dad, but for now I'm going to surprise my mate tonight.

Blake POV

I was coming home from training the pack pups when Cora called me in our room "Blake babe can you come here please?" I got worried and entered the room as quickly as I could. "Are you okay?" I asked her. She let out a soft laugh and said "Yes I am. You don't need to worry I just want to give this to you." She extended a blue and white stick to me. I took it and as soon as I read what was on that stick I wrapped my arms around Cora and looked in her blue eyes and stroked a hand trough her long brown hair and softy said "I love you so much and I can't wait to see our little pup running around" she smiled and kissed me.

Cora POV (a month later):

Right now me and Blake are in my dads porch. I am a little nervous about tellimg them about the baby but Blake says its the right thing to do so I'm gonna do it. I rang the doorbell and her shuffling in the house, I knew my brothers were all here because every Saturday we have a family dinner but for this past 2 months I am not apart of those anymore. Blake saw my sad eyes and said "Don't worry I'm right here with you and our pup." he wrapped an arm around my waist and as soon as he did that, the front door opened just to show Nate, my brother. "Cora? What are you doing here? Are you alright?" he asked as he hugged me. Nate and I are like best friends not siblings, we always have each others backs and talk about everything and I mean everything. Ok you get the point.

Finally I respond my brothers question "Yes I am, you don't need to worry. I just have something to tell you all." I smiled at him as to say that everything was really fine with me. "Okay come on in."

We entered and my dad gave me a hateful look. Blake and I stood in the middle of the living room while everyone else sat on the huge L shaped couch. I took a deep breath " Ok, I know most of you don't agree with my relationship with Blake but we have something to tell you.... hmmmm....me and Blake are gonna have a baby. I just thought you all deserved to know since you are family and all." There was silence for about 10 whole minutes until someone said something. I was very surprised to see who had talked.
