Chapter Three: The Date

Cam's POV:

Okay. It is only 6:30 and I am already freaking out. I am all ready. I have my hair up in a quif. I still have two hours to see her. I can't even go early because she is a girl and has to get ready for the date.

Jen's POV:

Okay. I am kind of paniking as I do my makeup. I put on a light amount. A little mascara, some eyeliner, and a light red lipstick shade. I am ready so now I wait for an hour.

I heard a car pull into my driveway. As soon as I looked outside I saw Cameron standing with the passenger side door open. He had a black Mercedes with tinted windows. He looked so hot. I never thought I'd fall for a guy so quickly.

"So where are we going?" I said once I got into the car.

"We are going to Cannataro's Italian Restraunt." Cam said.

"I love that place."

"Okay, let's roll."

Cam's POV:

I'm so glad she wants to go there. I didn't know any places around here that is cool. So I chose this place.

I wanted to go to Pub 99. But of course they don't have it in California.

"Reservations for Dallas."

"Sure right this way."

When we got seated we ordered our drinks and food. While we waited we just talked. This isn't like a boyfriend girlfriend date yet. I want to ask her out tonight, but I don't know if that would be making things move too fast.

"So why did you and Nash move to Chino?"

"Well we wanted a fresh start, new year, new me. Get it? We had a bad reputation of suspentions and expulsions." well as other things. She doesn't need to know that. "But thats all behind me. So how long have you lived alone?"

"Well I am 18 now and I moved out of my beach house when I was 15. So about 3 years. How long have you been in Chino?" The way she talked was just perfect.

"We have been here for about 2 months. Can I ask you something?"

"Totally!"

Here goes nothing. I feel like I am going to vomit. What if she says no?????" Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Jen's POV:

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Did he really just ask that. I have never been asked out. I think it's the curls. Or the dress. Or. Just. Myself.

"Uh..uh..uh...uh...SURE. I mean yea I guess."

I didn't feel cool at all I felt like a dumbass. The way I stuttered. Just stupid.

"Hey wanna stay over at my place?" He said it with a huge grin on his face.

"Sure. Wanna leave now? Skip the dessert." I know that this is sooooo fast, but I feel like I can trust him.

"Yah let's go." He looked so happy.

When we got to his house he gave me a pair of his sweatpants and a sweater. I first went into the bathroom to wipe off my makeup and to brush my hair out. Then I walked out and we layed on the couch with a blanket. The last thing I heard before falling asleep was "Goodnight Beautiful." And then kissed my forehead before I fell asleep."
