I only have one goal in my life, easy to say hard to achieve but I believe in myself, life was never easy, if it’s easy what a life. My goal in my life is to be a successful movie director or photographer, I really don’t know why I want to be a photographer or director. My first choice was being a lawyer, a dentist or something related to business but unexpectedly I ended up here, and I’m happy already.
Back to normal, today is my audition for a play, don’t be confused right now, I want to be successful director but before that Marjorie a famous play director in this university wants our whole batch (yes it’s true) to try theatre arts or acting for her upcoming play.
Since this will be a big event, it took us six months to prepare. I will be Joanna Parks in the play the main antagonist, I am a mysterious but an over acting person or a loud type one, bass type actually.
How did it happened? Well, the story is a bit long and it may be unforgettable if this play will be a success or I will be famous because of this.
This is how I got my role. Three months ago, 2:45am exactly my phone rang. Mr. Darwin called, Mr. Gumball the assistant principal just got brutally murdered. I remembered ‘The Da Vinci Code’ (Dan Brown) every time I tell this to my friends. I really don’t know why, the first part maybe.
“Yow Anna!” Restie the assistant director called me
“What?” I asked him
“Hey do you know Jason Gonzalez?” Restie asked me
Jason? Wait! Jason Gonzalez right? Oh nooooooooooo! Don’t tell me he’s here please! I’ll be so dead, because he’s my not so childhood crush, I admired him when we were grade 6 and 7, but he went to Paris until now (I’m not sure if he’s back here right now).
“Anna?” Restie asked me
“Oh, yeah? What again?” I asked
“Do you know Jason Gonzalez?” He asked me
“I know one” I told him
“Great! He knows you too”
Confirmed -_- I’m dead
“So?”
“He’s part of the play, he’ll be Ryan Lopez, your partner”

“I assume that he will be here later, he just came back from Paris” Then he left
Really?! Maybe I should be ready for my French skills -_-
I went back to the backstage where half of our team are doing the props while the half are buying the materials we will need later. Since I’m Joanna Parks the lead character, the director suggests me to relax so I went in the dressing room and start giving time to myself which is sleep for me
*40 minutes later*
“Anna” Restie?
“What?”
“Jason is here, the others are waiting for you in the stage” Restie told me
“What! Okay, I’m coming just wait!” I ran going to the stage
When I arrive at the stage I can see Beth, Angela, Angel, Cloud and Jason….
That’s really him… The handsome one okay!

O__O – Me
“Have a sit Anna” Joyce, our director told me
I’m now sitting beside Angela and Beth, I’m eight seats away from Jason, after I sit down, and an awkward silence arrived just for a minute…
“So, there were some issues last week and we decided to remove Joshua in the play due to private reasons, now we have a new student from Paris but he’s American, and he’s name is Jason Gonzalez”
Jason stand up from his chair, with a height of five feet and ten inches, the last time I saw him he was just five feet and two inches.
“Hi I’m Jason Gonzalez, you can call me Jason. I just came back from Paris. I’m 19 years old and a theatre student” He told us
“Jason, what are your fears?” Cloud asked him, he’s a prankster actually
“Oblivion” He told Cloud in a very simply
I remembered Agustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars -_-
“Really?” I asked
“Yes” Then he sits again.
“So that’s Jason the new Ryan Lopez and Anna’s new partner”
“Hey, you and Jason look cute together” Beth told me
“So?”
“The more you hate, the more you love” Angela told me
“The world is not a wish-granting factory, credits to TFIOS”
“What’s the connection Anna?”
“Don’t assume too much” I told them
After our getting to know each other session, I go to the locker room to put my stuff in. After I put my stuff I saw Jason, he looks weird -_-
“Hey, what’s your name?” He asked
“Anna”
“Not that Anna”
CAN YOU STOP BEING LIKE AGUSTUS!
“Anna…”
“Anna and the French Kiss?” He laughed
“Ugh! Why do you want to know?” I asked
“Nothing, my mom told me to make friends” He told me
“Really?” I told him
“Yah”
“Okay, my name is Anna Ricks”
“WHAT! Anna, is that you?” he still remembers me yay!
“How many time I’ve told you that my name is Anna”
“Long time no see Anna, I even don’t know that’s you” He’s so happy right now
“Are you sure Jason?” I’m laughing right now, I miss him too
“Yes I’m sure Anna, you know me right?”
“Yah”
“So let’s go outside and chill” He requested
“Okay, if that’s what you want”
We both go out to buy a drink and sit outside to feel the fresh air.
“So, why did you come back?” I asked him
“Mom’s orders” He laughed
“Wow Jason you’re 19 years old and you still follow your mom’s orders” I told him, what a child! He’s so loyal
“What’s the big problem? She still gives me a chance to watch movies, go to bars, hangout with my friends, but I have a curfew, that’s the disadvantage of it”
He’s so lucky! Good thing his mom gives him a chance to watch movies and do whatever he wants, while my mom only gives me four times a month to go out with my friends and I hate it.
“Do you have any plans to go back there?” I asked
“I’m not sure, but I may comeback, only for a vacation.”
I don’t know how to continue a conversation, good thing it’s time now, practice again. When we go back to the auditorium again. Angela and Beth a smiling at the both of us….
‘Not again, please’ I whispered to myself
