JoshDub X Gender Neutral! Reader

(A/N: THANK YOU GUYS SOOO MUCH FOR 10K READS!! and I'm typing this on my computer cuz my phone storage is stinky, so sorry if there is bad grammar, I'm not used to typing on my computer)

(Y/N's POV)

So I'm thinking about taking Josh to Dave & Busters (props to you if you been there before), you know, just as friends (oh and the cough cough doesn't exist in this oneshot I guess). I haven't hanged out with Josh ever since the new year! I bet it would be fun if I asked him, he loves video games! he has a whole YT Channel about it for Gods sake! Why am I overthinking this so much, just call him Y/N!

I call josh, "Hey Josh dude!" I say happily

"Hey N/N! (Nickname) how are you doing?" Josh asks

"I'm doing Great! Hey, do you wanna go to Dave & Busters with me?" I ask

"Sure! Its been a while! but I'm sure I can still kick your ass at the games!" Josh answers

"Whatever! Just meet me at noon!" I say while rolling my eyes

"Okay, bye game loser!" Josh says jokingly

"Bye VR nerd!" I say while hanging up

Its about noon and I start driving (HA imagine driving) to Dave & Busters, and of course, Josh is already there, he sees me parking in the parking lot and gives me the most shit eating grin I have ever seen

"Okay VR nerd, lets go inside!" I say while going out of my car and walking to Josh

We go inside and as expected, D&B was PACKED, there were kids that were on a school trip, people there for I'm guessing someones birthday, and just people wanting to hang out. Me and Josh play some games that I TOTALLY beat Josh at, I don't wanna think about it. Anyway, we stop at the Toy Claw, well, Josh stops at the Toy Claw.

(Josh's POV)

We play some arcade games that I destroyed Y/N at, but then we go near the Toy Claws, I stop at the Toy Claw when I saw that there was a F/A (Favorite Animal) plush In it. Now, Y/N is my childhood friend, when we were kids, she would brag about how much she loved F/A, they will let you KNOW how much they love F/A, so I wanted to win a F/A plush, just for them. Y/N Is just standing there (MENACINGLY) while I try to win this plush for them, I kept on failing, 'why is this the only game in the arcade that I'm not good at? out of all of the games why this one?' I thought to myself. 

"Josh, Its okay, You don't need that plush" Y/N says.

A few minutes go by, I only have a little bit of credits left to play the game, this is my LAST CHANCE! I try again, this time it works! I finally got this for- Wait no no no NOOOO! 

At the last second, the plush fell out of the claw, I had no credits left, I failed Y/N.... "GOD DAMN IT!" I yell as I punch the glass, making the glass crack, uh oh....

"RUN!" Y/N yells as she grabs me out of the arcade

'Oh my God, Y/N thinks that I have anger issues now don't they? oh my fucking God..' I thought to myself

"Y/N I'm so sorry... I failed you.." I said sadly

"Josh, you could never fail me, I would never hate you, even if the whole world was against you. Now tell me, why did you want that plush so much?" Y/N said

'Should I tell them?' I thought to myself

"U-um, You see Y/N, I know how much you love F/A, and I just wanted to make you happy by getting you a F/A plush, because when you're happy I'm happy, I just wanted to see you smile..." I explain while almost crying

"Aw, Josh... Being with you already makes me happy, You make my day every time you smile, laugh or even talk, You are the most sweetest, best, handsomest person I know, nothing makes me happier than being with you." Y/N says while wiping my tears off my face

"I love you Josh, nothing Is gonna change that, I love you more than just a friend" Y/N says, then....

She kisses me! THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!! THANK YOU GOD, JESUS, AND ALL THE GOOD THINGS IN THE WORLD!

(A/N: Wow, 738 words? And btw, I'm rewatching Adventure Time again for the first time in 2 years, so yeah, and also I have school on Monday, so don't expect any quick updates. HAPPY BI PRIDE MONTH, yes that is a thing)
