In Anok:
"Don't fight me Nightwing, join me", Star held out his wing in truce. A single tear slid from Nightwing's face, and a white flower bloomed between the two black stallions. Nightwing stared in shock, and answered softly.
"I'm sorry". From outside the shield, the Pegasi stared. Star retracted his shield and the stallions faced each other. Nightwing held Star's gaze, and then he sagged.
"I...I can't say sorry enough...", Nightwing's words were soft. "Just kill me. Please. When the Destroyer is extinguished, the Beyond will open, and you will all be free." The stallions nearby pranced, still shocked.
