Lapis is back home and she is talking to peridot right before bed

Peridot: So Lapis how was your trip with (y/n)? You got home dropped your stuff off and just left again. Didn't really get to talk to you.

Lapis: oh yeah sorry about that. He was making dinner didn't want to to be done and get cold. But yeah the trip was amazing, we drove up the countryside to Toronto. We watched a hockey game, he got me a jersey to his favorite team *she blushes and chuckles* and he did a really really wonderful evening for me. I've noticed he's been down in the dumbs lately, I didn't say anything but I knew he could tell I knew. But he felt like he was a burden and dragging me down too. He knows what I've been through and he didn't want me to feel bad. So (y/n) planned a day all for me. We walked around Toronto went to a steakhouse and he gave me the most wonderful massage. I was so relaxed and felt such a connection. I told him that I was gonna do something for him but I can't really decide what I want to do. I want to have a picnic and watch the sunset. I wonder if I should- nevermind.

Peridot: sounds dreamy! And should you do what?!

Lapis: it's to early for that.

Peridot: *gives an '3' face* ohhh that *she says in a playful tone of voice*

Lapis: *blushing* oh stop. But seriously I want this day to special for him. He's done so much for me. I wonder if I have this wonderful day for him, he'll feel appreciated. Like I can hold up my end of the relationship. Because it feels like he does everything for me but I feel all I can give back in love. Is that what he wants? Does he just want love or does he... want me?!

Peridot: *a heavy pressure falls over her* this... is a big topic. Maybe you should ask him. You said all you could think of is a picnic right? At the end of dinner ask him. Do you "love me" or love me. Find out if he's just simping or if he actually cares.

Lapis: I feel like I know he cares. We've had conversations at 3am and even the other night we had a conversation that I just felt like crawling up in a ball and just cry with him caring over head. *she wipes a single tear* I think I know what I'm gonna do. I'll take care of the day and tonight will be the test. If he loves me or not. If he does truly love me I'll seal the circle but if he doesn't... *she looks down and fidgets with her fingers. Her blue bangs dangle across her face*

Peridot: I'm sure he loves you. Let's get some sleep so that way you are ready for tomorrow.

Lapis: your right. I should get some sleep.

Next Day

*you wake up to the doorbell ringing*

Y/n: *yells from the bedroom* come on in I'll be there in a second.
*you freshen yourself up and get dressed in some nice clothes not fancy but not work or raggedy clothes. You spurt some cologne on yourself. You walk out and lapis is dressed up in a beautiful skirt. Or goes to just above her knees, and it's got a sunflower print on it.*

Y/n: Can i say you looks gorgeous?!

Lapis: *she blushes and chuckles* come here *she pulls you close and kisses you* you ready for your day?! Bring a swim suit!

Y/n: I've been looking forward *points in front of you*

Lapis: your a dork, come on *she grabs your hand* todays game plan is kind of basic but it's the best I could do in a night. But here let's go. *she grabs you and shoves you to your car* Go down Main Street but on Ocean Spray Dr turn right. *you follow her directions  and you arrive to a lonely park. There is a playground that looks like it hasn't been touched in a couple weeks. But it's at the base of a cool looking hill. There is a stream that flows around one of the edges around the park. Lapis grabs her bag out of the car and a sketch book.* Ok so I'm gonna draw you. I love coming to this park because no one comes here and it's so peaceful with the stream flowing next to you.
