Mila's dress shimmered as she scurried to get away from the eyes of Jax.

She made her way into the kitchen and began to help herself to multiple alcoholic drinks, one after the other whilst she was free from prying eyes.

'Hey you should slow down you're gonna get pretty drunk and very quickly downing them like that' A chuckle sounded by her ear as she turned to face a tall dark haired boy.

'Yeah that's the intention.'

'And what's a pretty girl like you doing all alone at a party?' Mila rolled her eyes at the cheesy line, she'd never been one for romance.

Ignoring the stranger something suddenly caught her attention. The back of a certain boys head became all too clear.

'Hey Brady what the hell?!' Rushing over to where the black haired boy was engulfed in another girls face she ripped them apart aggressively.

'Excuse me, do you mind?' The bimbo looked Mila up and down.

'No I don't, but you will in a minute, you've got five seconds to walk away you stupid cow.' Her small hands met with the mystery girls chest as she shoved her out the way.

'Mila stop acting crazy!' Brady made an attempt to grab the wound up girl but she swung round and connected her raised palm to his face.

'Me crazy?! I'm about to get real crazy Brady, what're you even doing here, and who is she?' With each word she spluttered her anger grew.

'We're not even official you psycho.' Embarrassed from Mila's antics he began to walk away when his head was met with the glass bottle he'd put down on the near by table moments ago.

'Mila what the fuck?!' Jax hurried over and snatched the now broke bottle out of her bloodied hands.

'You crazy bitch Mila.' Brady winced in pain as he brought his hand to the gash.

'Get the hell out of here Brady, before you end up with more than just a cracked open head.' Jax's threat resounded through the room as Brady took the hint to leave.  'And you, come with me now.' Grasping the young girls arm he dragged her out the front garden away from the chaotic party.

'In the car Mila' His hot temper was evident in his tone of voice so she did as he instructed.

A loud rev soared through the awkward silence.

'Hey we can't leave Opie.'  A concern clouded over her about her older brother. The siblings had always protected each other.

'He's fine, at least one of us should enjoy the party.' Mila rolled her eyes at the sarcastic remark. 'And besides, unlike you he can actually be trusted to be alone.'

'Well unlike me he actually has the chance to be alone.' She shot right back resulting in Jax ignoring her until he pulled up outside her house and gestured at her to go inside.

The lights were all switched off leaving the house in darkness which wasn't usual for if someone was home, and it wasn't too late either so it's not like her dad would be sleeping. Hesitantly she peeled herself out of the car and walked up to the front door attempting to open it. As expected it was locked.

'Right what are you waiting for?!' The window began to wound down allowing Jax to holler out of it.

'Dad must be out, I don't have my keys.' Her bare legs and arms became apparent as she shivered in the cold breeze of the night.

'Back in!' Groaning he started the ignition again.

Mila scowled as she got back into the car to an annoyed groan. 'I'm not a dog so you don't need to order me about like one.' Once again she was ignored and the car sped off down the road.

All of her previous drinks began to take a toll on her as the lights began to blur and her head became dizzy. She tried her best to focus on the outside but it only made it worse as Jax was speeding causing her head to pound.

'Hey Jax I don't feel so good.' He peeked over to see all the colour drained from her face.

'Did you drink something? Mila? Hey, don't you dare. Mila listen, stop!!' The panic in his voice rose as he began to realise what was unfolding before his eyes.

A giggle arose in Mila's throat as she looked at the mess before her, causing Jax's annoyance to rise.

'Tell me you did not just puke in my car honestly, why did you do that?!'

'Well it wasn't on purpose obviously!' She was in full fits of laughter now as the drunkenness truly kicked in causing Jax to join in with her contagious giggles, he could never stay mad at Mila.

'Anyway where are we going.' Her words had begun to slur into one so it took Jax an extra minute to answer as he deciphered what she was saying.

'My house obviously no where else to go, since you so smartly left your keys inside the locked house.'

'Well usually dads back by now' she glanced at the time and noticed the night was getting on. 'Do you know where he is?'

She only got a shrug as a reply which was Jax's way of saying don't ask basically, most likely club business and Mila was kept out of that whole loop.

The colour had come back to her cheeks as she helped herself to some gum in the side pocket of Jax's car. Fresh mint clouded her mouth suffocating the brought back up tequila.

Shortly after they pulled up to the all too familiar house, whenever her dad had club business this was where she stayed, with Gemma looking after her. Gemma was Jax's mum, and whilst she was just as involved with the club her hands pretty much stayed clean of any of the dirty work.

'Hey sweetie, what're you doing here?' The cigarette moved up and down in Gemma's mouth as she greeted a disheveled Mila.

Her dress seemed to have crumpled itself higher and her hair had become a birds nest in the comfort of Jax's car. It was clear what sort of night she had endured.

'Well some clever girl managed to lock herself out of her own house.' Sniggering Jax now managed to see the funny side of the situation.

'Where's Ope?'

'Getting laid.' Mila cringed at Jax's choice of word to describe her brothers predicament, way too much information for her.

A yawn escaped a tipsy Mila as tiredness began to surround her body. Gemma motioned at Jax to take her upstairs to bed.

Dragging herself towards the stairs to bed Gemma caught a glance of her red stained hands. 'What the hell?' She looked at Jax for an answer as she grabbed the girls small hands.

'Hey it's nothing to do with me!' He held his hands up in defence. 'She bottled Brady, looks like she's more like us than we thought.' They both chuckled at the thought.

'Come on then sleeping beauty' Jax's hand found its way to Mila's lower back as he guided her up the stairs.

'Spare toothbrush in the bathroom cupboard and probably a hair brush too which you need.' He scrunched her already messy hair into his hands laughing at himself. 'I'll find a shirt for you to change into.'

'Thanks Jax' She stumbled into the bathroom bumping into just about everything on the way causing Jax to watch in amusement.

Peering into the mirror Mila groaned in disgust at the sight of her reflection. She truly looked like a mess, and not a hot one. She quickly brushed her teeth and attempted to get the knots out of her hair, wincing in pain at each pull. Slinging on the grey long sleeved shirt Jax had slung over the door she made her way over to the bedroom, eager to climb into bed.

Frowning in disbelief at the sight before her she tried to push the grinning older boy off the bed. 'Jax move I want to sleep' Her voice came out in a high pitched whine.

'What? I hope you didn't think I'd be giving up my bed for you Mila. Get in, I'll try not to cuddle.' He laughed at his own joke, like he always did.

Too exhausted to argue she climbed into the comfort of the double bed, making sure to keep her distance from the cocky blonde boy who was dosing off next to her.
