In honor of me getting casted in Moana Jr I am now casting Glee characters into the show 😼 There's not a lot of roles so this should be easy
Also the girl that plays our Moana is pale af and I'm all for having anyone play any role, but like,, they live in the pacific islands. They're brown; they're not gonna be pasty. I guess that's hypocritical for me to say too tho, since I'm a blue-eyed, pale, blonde female playing Maui but yknow 😳 I just wish we had more variety. There's not a lot of brown and black roles in musical theatre so they should honor it by giving brown and black people those roles. There's a majority of white roles in theater, so it doesn't really matter if a non-white person plays those roles. Anywho that's just my perspective 👍
Also I'm not going to base my characters for the role based off of race and ethnicity and just their vocals and how much they match with the character; sorry if that upsets anyone and I hope it isn't offensive but like 😀 I'm doing this as if it was just voice and nothing else
Also I'm kinda pissed they made Pua a human for the Junior version. He was the cutest pig ever ngl. Same with Hei Hei. Adorable little chicken.

Moana
Marley Rose hahagwghgg im sorry but I can picture it; she'd sound amazing singing "How Far I'll Go" like 🥺🥺 I'm not a big fan of Marley but even I can't deny she'd be wonderful. We'd just make sure her costume is something she's comfortable in is all, and not the bikini 🥺
Maui
Mike Chang and hear me out— he's an amazing singer whether you think so or not with the correct vocal range (they raised the key and octave to fit a tenor). AS WELL AS THAT, "you're welcome" is a tap dance and I doubt he isn't amazing at that. So like.. say what you want but I vote for Mike Chang.
Tamatoa
They did change Tamatoa to a female for the Junior version but even if they didn't I'd pick my queen Mercedes Jones. Imagine it 🤩✨Just take a minute and picture that belting and mmmm THOSE RUNS
Tomatoa's Right and Left Claw
OKAY these roles are technically like the dragons wings in Shrek. They both sing accompany to Tamatoa and have a few lines. Just in case anyone didn't know and was confused.
I'd pick Santana and Brittany. That's all. They'd kill it with Mercedes— have you guys heard the Troubletones?? The trio we don't deserve

Quinn Fabray aaaaAAA
She has the sweet softness and wisdom in her voice to kill the role 🥺 Like literally I cant even,, and she already has a fairly good relationship with Marley so they'd have nice acting chemistry
Chief Tui (Moana's dad)
Mr Schue would want to cast himself for the role but I think it's safe to say that Finn would be baller. I know he doesn't do the musicals but who cares it works perfectly.
Sina (Moana's mom)
Rachel and omg she would be pissed about this. But like 😆 I think her solo's would be pretty?

Um okay I think that's all of the talking/singing roles..? Wonderful.
Also I'm 99% sure Pua and Hei Hei do hug in the show so 🎶 what can I say except your welcome 🎶
