After the ice cream date richie started to hang out with Stanley and Bill more but really wanted to see him so he picked up the phone and Eddie answered "hello, Edward Kaspbrak speaking." He said looking around.
"Hey Ed's!" Richie exclaimed smiling brighter than the sun. "I'm sorry I have to go..."

"But...Eddie i haven't spoken to you in weeks!"

"I know...but...its a long story I cant tell you on the phone..."

all Eddie heard was it hanging up.

Richie lay on his bed thinking what he should do and what he thought was he would walk to Eddie's house and talk to him.

As richie was walking out of the door he saw the fannypack he made for Eddie thrown at the front door. Richie broke down into tears...he picked up the fannypack and took it to his room.

He sat on his bed and cried whilst hugging the fannypack. Richie had kept repeating "why, why, why, why, why?"

He decided to go to the place where they had thier first date and set the fannypack there...the ice cream place. Before he left he put a note in the pocket as it said " if anyone reads this note I want you to give it to Edward Kaspbrak and tell him Richie Tozier loves him...
