Remus's POV
I sat there in my cold room crying on the floor, i sobbed quietly so the patrol officers didn't here me, rule N° 329, don't cry. Suddenly, i heard the sirens going off, they ment the fighters were here. The hatch on my door was slid open and i looked up to see a person in a wight mask peering in, "hey!" They said, "can you let me out? Please?" I whispered, they nodded and forced the metal door open, they ran in and grabbed my hand, "follow me." They said, they were whereing combat boots and a black leather cloke. They dragged me to a door. It flung open and we were helped out by someone in another black cloke and combat boots but they had a light  blue mask. They both rushed me and about 6 other prisoners to a prison van that had "free!" Painted in black on it's side. Purple jumped inside the back of the van with me and the others while blue jumped in and set off. After a second, the lights flicked on, now instead of the cloked fighter stod up at the front, it was a beautiful boy in a black zip-up hoodie and riped jeans, he had purple lipgloss and was very pale. He sighed, "hello, my name is virgil, my friends call me storm at least the would of i had any, you can talk by the way, you were just rescued by me, Patton heartfall and Roman kingstone, tow original fighters." He said in that monotone voice, my face lit up when he said Roman was here. I sat there in silence as the others tried to talk, I never fit in so theres no point trying now, dose my brother even remember me after 20 years? I thought. "They really took a tole on you, didn't they?" Said virgil as he sat down next to me, he ran his fingers through his purple hair, i didn't answer, "so, whats your name?" He asked, "remus." I said after a second, "wait. Remus? As in Roman's brother?" He said, "Roman still remembers me?" I asked confused, "yep, it's the reason he joined the force." He said changing from combat boots to purple vans. I smiled for the first time in a since i was taken, i couldn't wait to see my brother. The van stopped and the guy in the blue mask opened the doors, we were infront of an abandoned mall, "this is where we live, no one comes here and there are lots of rooms." said virgil stepping outside, i followed close behind him looking around, "oi, Roman, we have someone hee to see you!" Virgil called out, i saw my brother walk from around the coner, he had a numb expression on his face, "what, don't suppose you miraculously found my brother?" He said in a sarcastic tone, "actually, we did." Virgil said in his monotone  voice, he stepped aside revealing me,  "remus?" He said astonishing, "hello Roro." I said, he ran up and hugged me, i hered muffled sobs and started to cry as well, "i missed you" he said with a big smile on his face as he reased me from the hug, "i missed you too" i said. He went back to whatever he was doing but happier. "Come on, let me show you around." Said virgil dragging me by the rist, "these are all storage rooms for things like disguises and wepons on the first floor," he said dragging me to the stairs, "these are the rooms, that side female, that side Male and this area in the middle for non-binary folk," he said dragging me to a room at the end of the room, "this is the room where you will sleep." He said showing me a room with about 5 other beds, 3 people where there already and the other 2 were empty at the moment, "if you ever need me or have any questions, you can call me on this cell phone, it has all the teams numbers on." He said passing me a phone, "now, you can go pick out some clothes, Patton wil lead you to where they are." He said as a short boy with freckles and thick wired glasses walked up to me. He led me down to a room with lots of clothes, "pick out anything you like." He said, i looked around and grabbed a green cropped hoodie, grey shorts and a pair of green sneakers, "changing rooms in the back." Said Patton, i went and changed out of my soldiers uniform into the clothes i picked out. "Now you can go back to your room of go outside to the yard and socialise, if you get lost, theres a map on your phone." Said Patton walking off, "PASSWORD IS YOUR NAME!" he yelled. I went back to my room and 1 of the 2 beds was filled, "h-hi" i hesitated to speak, he looked at me, they had a scar along their cheek, a cropped MCR shirt and blue vans, they had purple and blue hair and black lipstick, "hi, vee's the name, you are?" He said, he had a sarcastic tone, "remus."  I answered, "cool, are you one of the new people?" He asked, "yep." I answered, "it's ruff when you first leave, it gets better." He asured me. He went back to typing on his phone, "what are you doing?" I asked sitting down on my bed, "texting my moms, they were taken with me because we moved here not knowing about this. They're over on the girls section." He said, "oh, i was separated from my family, i finally got to see my brother for the first time in 20 years today." I said, he looked up, "thats ruff buddy" (if you get that, shhhhhhhh!) He said going back go texting. I hered the speakers crackle, "ok, this is an announcement to all the new people," he cleared his throat, "we celebrate pride in this house and you better respect that! All of our most respected members, including myself, are LGBTQ+, if we catch any homophobes or terfs, you will be thrown out and left for them to come get you.!" That made me feel safe here, this is good. I thought to myself as a sat on my bed.
