The Lost Omega (Rewrite)

Prologue

~Izuku POV~

I was sitting in the waiting room with my mom. I kept swinging my legs and squirming. I was so excited to hear what my secondary gender and if I had quirk. "Calm down Izuku." My mom said with a small laugh. I kept swinging my legs. How can I calm down when I get to find out if I have a quirk.

I've been waiting for this day for about three months. I was hoping I was an alpha and I hoped I got a strong quirk. When it was time to leave to go to the doctor I was running all around the house. 

"Izuku Midoriya?" A nurse called from the door. I jumped up and my mom just laughed and took my hand. We walked down the hall to a room. "The doctor will be here in a few minutes." The nurse said before leaving. 

"Remember Izu there is still a chance that you might not have a quirk." Mom said. I nodded my head excitedly. The door opened and the doctor walked into the room. Mom put her hand on my shoulder and I kept kicking my feet. The doctor took a seat and looked at us.

"What result would you like to hear first?" The doctor asked. 

"The secondary gender test!" I said excitedly.

"Well, you didn't get the best results there. You are unfortunately an omega." My face dropped. I was an omega. The lowest gender in society. My mom rubbed my back gently. "It's okay Izuku." She said.

"The quirk test results were not much better. He is quirkless." My face dropped even more. "As you can see here his pinky toe has only the normal amount of bones. People with quirks will have an extra joint in the toe." The doctor said. Mom nodded and then took my hand.

We got up and left. When we got to the car I heard my mom mumbling about me being a disappointment. I cried the whole way home and when we got home I went straight to my room and cried. I was an omega and quirkless.

~Katsuki POV~

I was excited to go find out my secondary gender. I already had my quirk and I knew I probably rank pretty high in society. My mom came into the room with a sad look on her face. "What's the matter, Mom?" I asked her.

"Inko just called. She just got home with Izuku who got his test results today."

"What is his secondary gender and does he have a quirk?"

"Katsuki...He doesn't have a quirk. He's an omega and quirkless."

"What?! That can't be right."

"I'm sorry Katsuki but it is. Don't make fun of Izuku and stand by his side, ok?" 

"Of course I'll stay by his side! When I become a hero I will be his hero!" I said excitedly.

"Katsuki Bakugou?" A nurse said from the door. I forgot that I was here to find out my secondary gender. I got up with mom and walked with her to the room. A few minutes later a doctor came into the room.

"You young man are an Alpha. You also have developed your quirk, correct?" The doctor said.

"Yes," I say.

"Well, it's better than the kid I saw before you. He was quirkless and an omega."

I knew that he was talking about Izuku. Mom grabbed my hand and we walked out of the room. "We should go to visit Inko and Izuku." She said. I nod. I really wanted to see Izuku and see how he was dealing with the news.

I knew Izuku wanted to be a hero ever since we met. When I developed my quirk a few months ago he was so excited for me. It must hurt to have all your hopes and dreams shattered at once. We drove to the Midoriyas house and when we got there mom knocked on the door.

Auntie Inko opened the door. "Hey Mitsuki, hey Katsuki! How are you both?" Auntie asked.

"We're great Inko. Just got back from the doctor and decided to stop by." Mom said. 

"What did Katsuki get as his secondary gender?" Auntie asked as she kneeled down so I could hug her. 

"I'm an alpha, Auntie!"I say excitedly.

"That's great Katsuki! Izuku is in his room if you want to go play." Auntie said as she let go. I ran to Izuku's room. When I got there I opened the door and saw Izuku laying on the bed crying. I walked over and hugged him. 

"K-Kacchan!? What are you doing here? I thought you got your results today too." Izu said.

"I did get them Izu! I'm an alpha!" I yell. 

"That's awesome Kacchan," Izu said. I saw him force his signature smile. 

"Come on Izu. You don't need to fake your happiness around me." I say as I hug him tight

~Shoto POV~

I was waiting with my father to get the results of my secondary gender. My father the number two hero Endeavor, made sure that I got the best doctors for the test. I had developed my quirk a few weeks ago.

"Shoto Todoroki?" A nurse called. We got up and followed the nurse to a room. The doctor was already sitting there waiting for us. "Hurry up and tell us what his secondary gender!" Father demanded.

"He indeed does have a quirk and a powerful one at that. His secondary gender was not based off his quirk though. He is a beta."

"What the hell do you mean he's a beta?! He is from a proud family of alphas!"

"Sir we're sorry but-"

"Save it! Do another test! I don't care just make it so he's an alpha!" Father yelled.

"We don't decide what the secondary gender is sir. We just did the test and this was the result." The doctor said.

"Come Shoto! We're leaving!" I sighed and followed father out. We walked to the car and drove home. 

"Welcome back Father." Fuyumi said when we entered the house.

I went back to my room.  "How did the test go?" Fuyumi asked quietly.

"He's a beta." Father growled.
