He is so pissed at this, even though he himself has admitted that most of the gods (not goddesses) barley have a perception of no, so he went down to Aphrodite, and did the most Apollo thing he could, and asked Aphrodite that his kid loves an Ares daughter.
The Ares daughter also infact loved the kid of Apollo, so that worked in his favor. Apollo being Apollo, told Aphrodite about the mortal that is ruining her cute ship, so she teleports the Ares daughter to the mortal idiot man situation, she sees the situation and decides to kill the mortal with a disgarded mortal knife.
Both Apollo and Ares are proud of the ship so they let them live
