SubaYume Oneshots

This oneshot is inspired by (LOONA)-Chuu's song called "Heart Attack". I suggest you watch that before you start reading, you don't have to! But it gives you an idea of what the story is about! It's also a very good song and I recommend it!

I'm kinda nervous since I never exactly wrote for SubaYume, so hopefully you like this! The only reason I say that I don't trust my writing is because I'm the writer, it's predictable for me. So, I hope you will still read this! I'll try not to let you down! You can go ahead and start! And oh my gosh my stomach is sinking while I write this-

When Kanata first stepped into the dorm, he was deeply confused. Seeing Subaru standing on a stool with a huge camera peeking out the window was an... Interesting sight.

Kanata sight went to Asahi, who was quietly reading in the couch in from of him."What's he doing?" He asked Asahi in a whisper, making sure he didn't disturb Subaru's business or Asahi's reading.

Asahi didn't bother to look up at Kanata. "He's taking pictures of Yume." He said, quite focused on his reading. It didn't sound like he was questioning Subaru's actions, more like he was normal to it.

"What? For how long?"

"About 2 hours now." Nozomu answered from across the room. He was completing his school work on the diner table.

Kanata noticed the both of them weren't bothered by Subaru's strange behavior. He certainly was. It bothered him. He knew it wasn't right.

I mean, it was basically stalking! Following her everywhere, taking constant pictures of her, watching her from afar, I think you get the point.

"Why?" He directly told Subaru.

What was the point of just watching them all day? Wouldn't it be simpler if he just confessed?

It went silent. Asahi and Nozomu were actually intrigued on why he was doing it, so their eyes shot up at Subaru.

Subaru, still taking pictures of Yume reading her book, didn't say anything. He never looked back at them. He just kept taking pictures.

After another 5 seconds of awkward silence, Subaru finally decided to answer Kanata's question.

"It's obvious, I'm in love."

Wasn't much of a good answer, but the guys understood it. Some of it, they weren't crazy in love. If Subaru was really honest, he doesn't really know the answer. All he knows is that he's thinking about her very much.

Asahi let out a sound of understandment. "Wait, I thought you changed your career to be a photographer!" He confessed.

The rest of boys sighed, though Subaru's was more of a 'in awe' sigh. Kanata and Nozomu were disappointed but not surprised about Asahi's misunderstandment. It happened regularly.

"Anyways, Subaru, that doesn't really justify what you're doing." Kanata debated. He sauntered to Subaru's direction and stood next to him. His eyes looked through the open window and eventually spotted Yume innocently reading in her dorm.

"Yume doesn't seem to be bothered." Nozomu pointed out. "She's fully aware he's doing this. She hasn't done anything about it. Not that we're aware of." He continued.

Kanata scoffed and shook his head. He was in disbelief, who's just comfortable being constantly watched? Celebrities for one-

"Don't pretend you don't constantly stare at Ako in math class."

Kanata's eyes quickly went to Subaru. He felt his heart beat a little faster. How did he know that? "I... I'm sorry?" Was the best response he could give.

"Everyone in class knows your eyes are glued to Ako all the time. If you're wondering, that's why you're failing."
Subaru concluded.

He felt his cheeks heating up, more than he was supposed to. Kanata really believed he was keeping what he called "nothing more than a small crush" on the low.

Asahi gasped from the couch. "Oh, Subaru spilled the tea!" He began laughing, teasing Kanata for having a crush. How mature.

"You like Koharu, Asahi." Subaru said.

Asahi immediately went silent. He furrowed his brows and muttered something before continuing to read.

Nozomu giggled quietly in the background. And before you know it there's already yelling and screeching from Kanata and Asahi. They were just jealous Nozomu didn't have a crush and be teased about it.

Even though there was plenty of loud complaining, Subaru couldn't hear. It was just click, click, click repeatedly. One picture after another.

All of his standards are set to her, like the moon spinning around the earth. He doesn't even realize how much time passes by-

She smiled at him.

It's a trap. She's a trap. This is what love is. A trap. She caught him off guard, trapped him in a corner and attacked. This must be what thrill feels like. What should he do? Fight back and defend himself? Surrender?

His face went pure red, redder than an apple. He took a step back, forgetting he was on a stool and fell on the ground.
His friends all quickly surrounded him.

"Are you ok?!" Asahi loudly said, as if he had just been severely injured. Well, he was, mentally. According to Subaru, of course.

Subaru still hadn't looked at any of his buddies, he kept his eyes focused on the ceiling.

"She smiled at me..."

Kanata inspected him. "Jesus christ, dude... I thought you were attacked or something!" He grunted. It had been enough for him, he wasn't going to intervene into Subaru's little scandle more than he already has. He made his way inside his shared bedroom.

"She attacked my heart." Subaru annoyingly confirmed.

"What a wonderful way to put it. You know what else she's attacking? Your grades. 57 on your last test." Nozomu said as he proceeded to shove Subaru's test in his face.

Subaru sighed and took his paper. He didn't care about his grades at this point, he would give it all. She can take his heart or attack him anytime.
