ZANE'S POV

I heard the others were shocked when I told them that she was mute. Jay asked in disbelieve, "Are you sure, Zane?" "Positive." I answered him in assurance. The little girl did a sign language that was saying that I could understand her, but I can tell that she was scared of us. I told her, "Don't be scared, we won't hurt you." She was a little unsure about this but she nodded. I went to get a pencil and paper, place it down right in front of here then I asked her to write her name. So she did, as she gave it to me. I told the others that her name was Himiko Quinn and that she is 10 years old. And then Kai said, "I have her book though and I saw it's an information book." Then Kai read it out loud, "Hello who ever is reading this book. I'm Himiko's mom, I'm probably dead by now. I beg you please to take care of my daughter. And please don't let the OVER LORD take her. She's too unstable with her magic." Jay shout, "She has magic?!" I couldn't process this information, She has magic?! Wu was shocked but remained calm and said, "I guess we have to teach her." Cole asked, "How are we gonna teach her when she is not showing magic?" Then Kai said in shocked, "She wrote this book 7 years ago." Every one and even I was shocked, IT HAS BEEN THIS LONG.......... 

KAI'S POV

I put the book in the table and went up to her. I can tell that she was nervous about this so I asked if we could talk outside. She though for a moment then agreed, So we went outside to talk. The silence filled the room, Then I broke the silence and asked, "How did you survive in 7 years without guardian." I saw her shaking nervously I put my hand on her shoulder and said in a calm tone " Don't worry. I'm not forcing you to tell me. You can tell me once your ready." I was surprise when she hugged me with tears dropping from her eyes and stuttered and said Thank you. I guess she only trusts me, I hug her back. A few moments, She broke from the hug and whispered to me telling me that someone took her in but they die a few months ago. I felt sorry for her but I know how it feels to have no family. So I asked her if she has unlock her element. She asked what is that?. Then after that, she began staying with us. We also shopped clothes for her. When we always train Sensei Wu will always give her a dummy to practice on. Then when we tried to spare her, Of course we'll go easy on her. Then something magical happened..........

(I know this is very cringe. But again this is my AU, I make my own story uwu)
