But... Who was he?

*YeetMstr's POV*

I dashed past Qwills as he dropped into a ready stance. The woman was clutching me tighter now that she had regained full consciousness. Normally, I would have run to the police station with the woman, but this time was an exception. I left the woman here and told her to go alert someone.

I realised how far I had run, which probably would also explain the pain in my body. I collapsed onto the floor and took a few deep breaths. Ouch... But I knew Qwills was back there, he needs my help. I ran back to the location I left him. 

I turn the corner into the dark, shady alleyway and find him leaning against the wall, groaning. "Man... Lost... Escape" I pull him up onto his feet. "You'll be ok" I tell him. "He was a difficult villain to beat." 

Police rush into the alleyway and immediately begin their survey. "Are you both okay?" One officer asks us. I reply, "Yeah, just a little banged up". The officer nods and then informs me, "This woman told us you had saved her from a villain who was in this alleyway. Do you have anytime to explain," I shrug, "Yeah, I guess so."

*30 minutes later*

I emerge from the police station with a small wad of cash, a gift from the woman. Qwills and I both said no, but she insisted. The police also said we should relieve ourselves from any hero activity for the rest of the day to rest.

I take a seat on my bed whilst Qwills flops into a chair. We both stay silent, pondering life, when Qwills pipes up. "Who do you think he was?". I reply, "I think he was just another villain with dodging powers probably." Qwills sits up a bit, "And why do you think he was trying to capture that woman," I shrug, "For the money? that's a common reason." Qwills responds, "I think we should ask her if she has anything of value later," I nod.
