I hear my alarm clock blaring in the background as I slowly wake up. I groan and roll over aiming for the snooze button. I push the button, but wind up on the floor. I groan and sit up. Then I remember today is the last day of high school. Graduation. Gateway to adulthood. The whole shebang. I smile to myself as I think about how much I've been through these past four years and how much everyone has changed. Let me tell you, it was one hell of a ride.
I hear my phone vibrate on my bed stand and realize that I've been laying on the floor for the past ten minutes. I look at my screen and feel a smile spread across my face. It was a text from my boyfriend, Tristen.
Morning beautiful. I can't wait to see you at graduation so we can finallt tell Whitewater High to kiss our asses! Love ya ! xxxx- Tristen
I texted back a good morning text and a kissy face and turned off my phone and laid back on the floor. I though about how Tristen and I had gotten together and how fucked up it seemed. But in reality, I felt that Tristen and I could not be more perfect for each otherm despite how we had slowly fallen in love.
I had always been attracted to Tristen, even while I was dating his brother. Screwed up, I know. But the way Tristen looked, it was hard not to drool. With his gorgeous green eyes, shaggy blondish hair and ridciulous body, Tristen was beyond hot. Even though I have NO idea why he found ME attractive of all people.
