HELLO! my names mariam! i'm new here so i'm very sorry if these are bad!💖

Kody has been sick for a few days. He had a cold. Not a big deal right? But for Kody, since his body is weak it would affect him alot. He wouldn't have the energy to do anything, wouldn't eat and would cough and sneeze. ALOT.

Kody was asleep intill he woke up at 2:15 AM. He couldn't go back to sleep. He tried to. His nose stuffed which made it hard to breathe. He breathed with his mouth open. "Ugh..i can't sleep.." Kody said in his head while tossing and turning. He eventaully decided to go drink some water to hopefully help him fall asleep. Kody got out of his bed and opened his door and made his way downstairs.

Kody got a glass cup and filled it with water. And drinked half of it. He washed the cup and put it back where it was, he made his was back to his bedroom and crawed into bed. He thought he would fall asleep now, but he didn't. It was now 2:33 AM and Kody still hasn't fallen asleep. He was now getting annoyed. "D-Damn it.." Kody said under his breath.. "i wonder if dads awake.." Kody thought. "No..why would be be awake at this hour." He thought. "Checking wont hurt..right?" Kody thought as he crawed out of bed.

~KODYS POV~

I went to dads bedroom door and stared at it. Before knocking 3 times. I waited a couple of seconds before i heard "ah..coming..!" Dad opened the door.

~ADIENS POV~

I was reading a book about spells when i heard 3 knocks at the door i looked up suprised. "Who could be awake at this time" i thought to myself. "Ah..coming..!" I said as i got up and answered the door

"Kody..? What are you doing here my love? Is there something wrong..?" He said as he opened the door wider for Kody to come in. "No..nothings wrong.." Kody said as he looked at floor. "Did you have a bad dream..?" Adien said concered for his son ofcouse. "No. I..just can't sleep.." he said. Adien looked at Kody and smiled a little. "How about i make you some warm milk?" Adien said with a little smile. Kody looked at him and just nodded his head a little while looking at the wall. "Alright then.." he said with a small smile.

Adien and Kody walked down the stairs and Kody just sat down at the table while looking at the wall. "How have you been..?" Adien said..softly.
"I-i've been f-fine" Kody studdered (sorry if i spelled it wrong.) While looking at his lap. Adien looked at Kody and smiled a little. "After you drink you're milk..have some medicince" Adien said as he brought the glass cup filled with warm milk. Kody nodded as he drank the milk. It was warm and made his throat feel a little better. Adien watched his son as he drank it. "You know.." Adien started "you wouldn't feel this....weak if it wasn't for..that spirit.." Adien said as he looked away from his son.
Kody was sad at what his father said to him. Ofcouse it was true but it still hurt him a little. "Whatever.." Kody said as he also looked away from his father. Angry and sadness in his eyes. He just drinked his milk in silence. "You don't know what's it like.." Kody said as he finished his cup of milk and left the table a little angry. Adien looked at Kody as he said that. "Kody..?" Adien said, but Kody was long gone. Adien sat there for a few seconds before realising something. "Oh crap. I must have hurt him with my comment" Adien said as he rubbed his forhead. Adien got up and washed the cup and put it back where it was. He walked up the stairs and stopped at Kodys room, he opened it and saw Kody sitting there with his head on his knees. Kody looked up and saw his dad standing next to the door. They looked at eachother for a momments before kody asked "what..?" While he looked away. Adien came closer to Kody and sat on his bed. "You alright..?" Adien said without looking at kody. After a few seconds he looked at his son. For a few seconds. Kody replied "i'm f-fine." While still not looking at his father. Adien licked his lips. "I'm..sorry..for what i said. I know it's hard for you and i shouldn't have said that.." Kody looked at his father suprised. Kody nodded slowly. "Mmm..it's fine." Adien smiled. He looked at Kodys alarm and saw it was 2:59 AM. "You should go to bed. It's really late." Adien said with a soft smile. "Can you..sleep with m-me..-" Kody said out of the blue. Adien looked suprsied and a little shocked. He just crawed into Kodys bed and looked at Kody. Kody giggled a little and pulled the blanket over them. They cuddled each other intill they both..fell fast asleep.
