Part 6

Kayla POV

The kiss was electrifying; it sent adrenaline through my body. His lips were soft, and his kisses were gentle and hypnotic. Just like he used to kiss me before- but this time, it was somewhat better; he had me in a trance. He knew how to press all of my buttons; it was almost as if I was powerless.

Our lips moved in synchronisation and I could taste the passion as the kiss grew deeper and deeper. I ran my hands through his soft curls, before wrapping my arms around his neck.

Harry then pulled away from my lips and began to plant tiny kisses across my jaw line, before continuing them down my neck. He didn’t fail to remember where my soft spot was, he began to give me a lovebite as I let out a soft moan.

He lifted his head and gave a sexy smirk, before kissing my neck once more. His lips then found his way back to mine, and before I knew it, his hands had moved from my waist to undo the zipper on my dress.

I think you get the picture of what happened next… A ‘one thing lead to another’ type moment. So I won’t reveal the details of what went on....

Afterwards we lay in bed, with Harry’s arms around my shoulders. We stayed there talking to each other about anything and everything; just like we used to after having sleeping together.

He was my soul mate. He always had been and he always would be. We were together again, just the way it was supposed to be. Nothing could, or would interfere with that.

But then again… Nothing lasts forever, does it?

More on that later… All you need to know for now, is that Harry and I were together again, and I couldn’t have been happier; someone up there had it in for me though. My happiness never lasted for long.

Harry POV

I contemplated kissing Kayla for ages. I was going to make it all romantic, but then I realised, there was too much shit I had caused with the break up. So, I decided to do it as a spur of the moment thing.

And boy was I glad I had.

I had even got to go one step further than I had hoped to, but at that moment, I was just enjoying being with Kayla. Lying with her, and just being with her in general.

I never believed in finding ‘the one’ or any of that crap. I didn’t need to, because I had already found her. She was in my arms, and I never wanted to let go of her.

“Do you wish we could freeze this moment forever” Kayla sighed contently

“I was just thinking the exact same thing” There was a pause, not an awkward one- just a silent peaceful one. “Where does this leave us?” she asked

“Are we together again?”

“Okay” a smile spread across her beautiful face and she rested her head against my chest “I can hear your heartbeat” she placed her hand gently on my chest.

“I want you to remember this Kayla”

“Why?” she asked puzzled

“Because the day that my heart stops beating, will be the day you break up with me”

“What if you break up with me?”

“Like that’s gonna happen” she lifted her head from my chest and kissed me softly

“Anyway- I meant to ask, since when did you get so many tattoo’s?” she traced her fingers up and down the two birds on my chest

“You like them?”

“Well, I guess they’re kind of sexy in a way” bit her bottom lip “I got one too”

“Let’s see it” I asked keenly

“I’m just kidding” she laughed “you should know me well enough now Harry. I can’t stand needles”

“How could I forget? All of the times you screamed and cried” I reminisced at the memory

“You held my hand every single time though” she took my palm and entwined out fingers

“I’ll hold your hand till the very end” I whispered

“I love you Harry”

“I love you too Kayla” I kissed her forehead

And we fell asleep as a couple for the first time in months. If only things had stayed that simple….
