Love.
It's a funny thing that makes you do stuff you might regret...
It's a few months before the end of school. Forever.
They are both 16, Robert can't deny the love any longer so he's decided to do it. All these years of waiting and he's finally dug up the courage to take the bull by the horns and ask her. He rehearsed it over and over in his head, but what if she says no? 'Don't think like that of course she'll say yes, she can't resist you.'
So he asked her. 'Jennifer, you're the love of my life and I can't bear the thought of ever being without you, will you marry me?' He could almost see her brain ticking and the few seconds before she agreed his heart almost stopped. But it all went pear shaped. She told him she couldn't be with him and gave him back his ring; he couldn't figure out what he did wrong but it wasn't him. She just didn't love him like he loved her...
Everyone said to forget, to move on. He couldn't forget. He couldn't move on because he was still in love with her but she was married now, and he was a broken man...
