Chapter 8 - The hungry and lost (Aleks - ImmortalHD)

Before this Chapter begins, I just want to take time to say... Thank you. The support I have been getting for these stories, wether in the form of voting, commenting or even just plain reading (About that, almost 500 reads, which I will get to right after this) has made me so happy! Though, I have not been thanking you well enough by supplying enough chapters, so after this Chapter, I promise to work tons harder! I have even planned the next couple of chapters, names & POVs.

Now we get to more news... The story is almost at 500 reads! This is really shocking to me, cause the only story that I have ever gotten over 500 reads was a Pokèmon story, including Ash and Pikachu. Though the amount of reads was on a different website (Fanfiction) and is actually almost 5,000 reads, which has also blown my mind! Now, I know you may all think:

"500 reads isn't many at all, stop being so excited!"

Well, 500 reads is a crap ton to me, and I am very grateful. This isn't because I have written a good story (Far from it actually, my stories are pretty much crap, because I don't work hard enough in them (Though that is changing.)) No, this is because you all have dedicated your time to read this story, because you either found it interesting, or we're forced to read it.

Anyways, Let's get to the chapter!

Aleks' POV

I sat in the corner of some random corridor, Legs against my chest, head buried in my lap, and arms tugging my legs closer.

I can't stand being alone for anything over 3 hours... I hadn't told anybody about it yet, But my social levels dwindle very quickly, driving me into insanity all hours of the day when I'm alone. Which is a main reason why I'm mostly recording and editing in the office, where the others are just a yell away... Now I'm far from a yell to safety.

I wasn't always like this, But FNAF kinda resorted me to paranoia when I'm alone in the dark... And it is dark as all hell around here!

I sighed sadly, and tightened my grip against my legs, as I let out a short sob.

"I'm gonna die here..." I whimpered out, before taking a deep breath and shouting those same words, "IM GONNA DIE HERE!!!!"

My breath caught mid-gasp as I heard another voice shout back, A farmiliar one at that, "ALEKS!? IS THAT YOU!?"

My lips twitch as I respond, "Y-YES!!"

I heard loud footsteps running closer, as a large figure shadow of a figure appeared in front of me, I had my guesses on who it was, "H-Hello?"

I hear a loud mechanical screech as Foxy from FNAF suddenly jumps forward from the shadowy figures dwelling, and I let out an ear piercing scream. My scream fades off as the mechanical Fox fades away... Phew... Must've just been a figment of my imagination... Thank god above!

Dan reveals himself as the shadowy figure by stepping closer into my eyesight, "Aleks, Did you just scream?"

I blush lightly and shake my head in denial, "Nooooooo..."

Dan stepped further forward, "Are ya sure? Cause... I just heard you scr-"

I cut him off by yelling, "No man! I didn't fucking scream!"

Dan moves his hands up in the air, "Alright man, I surrender..." He lets out a bit of a laugh before sitting down next to me, "How long have you been here? Are you okay?"

I slowly nod, "Yeah... I'm okay man... And to answer your first question, I truly have no idea."

Dan moves his arm behind my back and gently pats it, "Well, Maybe we should move to a different area... I'm getting kinda hungry and there's no food here."

"Maybe we should check the cafeteria?"

"Sounds like a plan!" Dan stands up and reaches his hand out for me to grab it, Offering to help me up.

I grab his hand gratefully and allow him to pull me to my feet, though before he lets go of me, I tighten my hold a bit, "I ain't taking any chance on losing you now, Not after being alone."

Dan releases a giggle and replies, "Whatever you say man, Let's just look for the Cafe now."

I nod in reply and we begin walking.

-2 1/2 hours later-

Me and Dan have been walking around the school in search of the Cafeteria for a long time now... I truly think we are just walking in circles, Cause we have passed by the place he found me at multiple times now... I can tell its the place by the tear marks still left there. We've only past 5 windows and each of them have a view of the outside world... Oh how I wish to be outside again... By the look of it, it was clear mid-day. We had arrived here in the morning.

After I see my tear marks on the floor a 6th time, I stop walking, "Dan, We're walking in bloody circles! This place is like a maze or something!"

Dan sighs, "Well, I haven't seen any openings... Have you?"

"I only saw those windows we passed... Plus, I got here through the vent system!" Long story.

"That's weird... I entered in here from a door, that was behind the bookshelf of a classroom."

"I haven't seen any doors man... Maybe we can find the vent, or look out the windows and see if this building even connects with the main one... Cause it seems like it doesn't."

Dan nods, and we walk another half an hour until we again see the windows. We both press our faces against seperate glasses.

Dan speaks, "Man, What the hell!? We're not even connected to the main building! How'd I even get here?"

I shrug, taking in the view of parking lot, "I don't even know... Maybe this has something to do with the girl that did the thing with the pillars earlier."

"Maybe."

I gasp lightly as I notice 3 people in the parking lot, I can already make out their faces! The first one is Simon from the Yogscast... What? I watch from time to time, don't judge! Anyway, The second guy is Anthony, or ChilledChaos... He was supposed to be a creature, and was a good friend of Eddie's around the time we were working on our music more than 3 hours a week, and the last guy is Steven... Ze, Another Creature like me and Dan.

They were running toward the outer fence of the school, as I silently willed them on! They were gonna escape, and get others to come save us!

I smiled happily as they grabbed the chain link fence and began climbing, Simon first.

Come on you 3... You've got this! You can save us!

I pull Dan over, who doesn't question anything as he looks out my window as well, and sees the 3 climbing the fence.

Anthony reaches the top first, even though he was 2nd to begin, when...

And the world threw fish in my face as I left them on a cliffhanger.
