Lucy's POV:

It was late and I needed to sleep. I had school tommorow but I didn't care anymore. There were so many thoughts swarming through my mind and I just needed some fresh air. I hopped off of my bed and pulled my Vans on. Then I walked over to the door and tiptoed my way past Nova's room.

Once I was a safe distance from Nova's room, I ran towards the front door and swung it open.

The cool air felt nice and crisp against my hot, burning skin. I took a deep breathe and inhaled the cool air.

There was a full moon tonight and many stars blanketed the sky.

All of a sudden I heard a blast of loud music coming from down the street.

Curiosity taking over me, I walked in the direction the noise was coming from.

It was a party. There were cars everywhere and I could see people on the front yard drinking unknown substances.

I slowly retreated, not wanting anyone to see me, and I ran back home.

*Morning*

"Lucy wake up. Time to go to school." Nova shook me.

"I'm not going!" I yelled and covered my head with the blanket.

"Lucy." She warned.

"Fine just get out."

5 seconds later I hear the door close.

I hastily get up and walk over to my closet. I grab my Nirvana T-shirt, some ripped skinny jeans, and my combat boots.

Then I walk into the bathroom to get cleaned up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"See you later." Nova nodded and left to go to her first class of the day.
I didn't want to go to first period, Jc would be there.
I sigh and head off to Mrs.Johnson's class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Your not late this time." Mrs.Johnson nodded in approval, giving a slight smile.

"Yeah..."

I trudged over to my desk and saw Jc staring at me.

"What!?" I whispered/yelled.

He just smirked. I rolled my eyes at him and sat down.

"Class take out your notebooks and do the warmup on the board." The teacher informed us and sat down at her desk.

I dug around in my bookbag and took out my silver notebook, but I accidentally dropped my pencil by Jc's desk.

"Shit." I muttered.

He saw my pencil on the floor and bends down and picks it up.

"Thanks." I force a smile and reach out for my pencil.

He tugs it away and holds it above his head, teasing me.

"Can I get my pencil back?" I huff and reach our for it, but he makes sure its out of my grasp.

"What pencil?" He asks, nonchalantly smirking.

He smirks way too much.

"Dude, chill out." I sigh impatiently.

"Why should I? Does it bother you, princess?" He questions, emphasizing the word 'princess'.

I feel my cheeks redden at the pet name.
