"Come on, Twi. It's not that big of a deal. We're just gonna skype random people, that's all!"
Tori shook her head, closing her laptop and placing her arms on top of it gently. "No, no, no, I'm not letting you use my laptop to expose yourself on the internet."
"We're just gonna strip down to our underwear, Tori!" Zander joked with a smile. Charlie snorted, covering her mouth to stifle her giggles. Stripping definitely wasn't going to happen.
Unfortunately for them, Tori wasn't amused. Instead of laughing, she glared at the two of them, holding her laptop closer. With a sigh, she shook her head once more, her dark brown hair swishing with the movement. "Stripping or not, you aren't using my laptop. Let alone my Skype. Those people can easily call me back, you know!"
Scoffing, Charlie rolled her eyes. "We aren't stupid, dude. We're gonna make a new account. Our name for the night is Tabitha, and she's a single, twenty five year old woman."
"You're seventeen, Dash."
"Wow, thanks for clarifying that. I thought I was twelve!"
Now it was Zander who was holding back laughter, his face turning bright red.
"I said no. Do you know what that means? That means to refuse, deny, or disagree," Tori retorted with a dirty look. "This idea isn't even that great, guys."
"If you don't give us your laptop, we'll tell Dylan-"
"Fine!" She interrupted with wide eyes, quickly looking around the room and behind her to make sure Dylan wasn't within earshot. Luckily, he was in the kitchen, telling Penny and Brandon that no, they did not need five boxes of cupcakes.
"Just this once, alright? This isn't going to be a regular thing," she whispered, her cheeks red as she hesitantly pushed the laptop towards them. Hopefully, they wouldn't go too crazy.
"You got it, Sparky," Charlie said, leaning forward to tap her head before grabbing the computer. "This'll be hilarious, alright. We'll get a million views on Youtube!"
"Don't call me Sparky. And why Skype? Can't you just use Omegle?"
Zander shook his head, propping his chin in his hand. "Oh, Twilight. People on Omegle are expecting people to video chat with them. But people on Skype won't even suspect it until you suddenly call them. The element of surprise just makes it funnier."
Tori raised a brow, leaning forward as she asked, "What if they don't answer?"
"Someone'll answer, man. Don't overthink it, because overthinking just screws everyone up," Charlie muttered as she opened the laptop, typing in the password. "Besides, we're gonna post 'Tabitha's' Skype on Facebook and shit, someone's bound to call."
"But then it won't be a surprise."
Charlie and Zander paused, glancing at each other.
"That's true," he said slowly, a frown appearing on his features. "Damn it, Twi. You just had to ruin it, didn't you?"
"How did I ruin it?"
"I don't know, but you did!"
Tori rolled her eyes, standing up and walking into the kitchen without another word. She wasn't going to continue arguing with them, knowing that she'd find more and more flaws with their plan, and that they'd come up with weak excuses and blame her for being a party pooper.
Meanwhile, back in the living room, Charlie was already filling out the information for their new Skype account, making up information the further she went. She was grinning mischievously the whole time, and Zander watched as she quickly typed.
"Who's gonna be the profile picture?" He asked curiously.
Her typing came to a stop as she thought about his question. Who was going to be in the profile picture? "A random picture of a girl off of Google, I guess."
"Ooh, let's do one of a bikini model."
"Fuck no!"
She fell silent as she filled out the final information, then finishing moments later. A proud smile found it's way to her face, and she sat there, staring at the screen.
"Tabitha's online now."
