So here it goes! My first FanFiction. Please bear with me as I work out kinks in plots and such. I don't like to reveal much so I guess you'll just have to read to see where the story goes.
I'm going to try and get a post up once a week but I make no promises with work and school being as busy as they are.
PLEASE let me know what you think as the story progresses. Constructive critisizim is always nice.
Ummmm yeah so here is the prolouge, I'll try and get another chapter up later tonight. I have classes later but after that I'll do a little editing and post again. MAYBE I'll even give you a picture we'll see if the chapter calls for it.
ENJOY PLEASE!
PS: I own nothing exept my own Original Characters and the plotlines I create everything else belongs to Hiro Mashima! Oh and sorry the Prolouge is so short!

*???’s Point of View*
There was no moon tonight, if there was the clouds which hung low in the night sky certainly blocked its light, letting an almost suffocating darkness fall across the land. Only a spot of light could be seen in the shadows about a mile out of town, right on the edge of the forest. A caravan of about twenty people and three carriages were at a stand still. The glow off their torches was just enough to show them the immediate path, but the inky shadows pushed gently at the light. The wind moaned low though the night air as it weaved between the trees and over the plains surrounding the small town of Rothskar.
A low growl reverberated from deep within my chest as my stare burned into the men surrounding their cargo. Small muffled cries of desperation from within the carriages made my ears twitch and only caused my growl to increase to a full snarl. My lips pulling up to reveal my teeth and the men clad in black cloaks jumped slightly and muttered amongst themselves, shifting nervously as they watched my crouched form warily. Teeth bared, ears pinned back against my head, and tail bristled I let out another fearsome snarl in warning.
“What should we do?” One in the back whispered clutching his sword so tightly his knuckles were white.
His buddy took a few steps back as he shook his head, “We should just leave the cargo, no one who has faced the beast has ever won. We’ve lost a lot of man power to it already.”
“Yeah, it let the last caravan go when they left the cargo behind,” said someone in the front causing most of the men to either nod or mutter in agreement some even taking a few steps back in slight retreat.
“You cowards! Theres only one of it and twenty of us, theres no way we will lose to just one lonely wolf.” Blue clashed with red as I glared at the leader of the group in hatred.
“Right, but the last to return said...” the first guys buddy started shaking nervously.
“SHUT UP FOOL! BOSS PUT ME IN CHARGE OF THIS RUN AND I SAY WE KILL THIS ‘BEAST’ AND BRING BACK ITS HEAD! THINK OF THE REWARD MEN!” This seemed to cause some life to return to the once nervous men. Their statue like guise finally lifting as they bared their weapons.
“Yeah, boss is sure to reward us nice if we take care of his little problem,” Stated one getting excited as he brandished his sword.
“Food, riches,” joined in another, “Maybe even a section of the town to ourselves!”
The wind howled loudly once, the eerie moan coming from the trees grew as silence descended on the group for a few seconds like the calm before a storm. Suddenly the leader laughed cockily breaking the silence before directing a nasty smirk in my direction, “WELL THEN, LETS KILL THIS DOG AND GET OUR REWARD!”
“YEAH!” The men threw their fists in the air with a cheer before starting their attack.
My mouth twitched up in my own wolfish smirk as I crouched down lower, ‘Foolish scum, I gave them a chance!’ As the first three men launched forward using some form of requip magic, I disappeared in a flicker, my own howl joining with the wind.
