Fantasy Shoto Todoroki x Reader

Part 1

You had been working at your family's local library for a while now, you had retired from being an adventurer, fighting and protecting the many other kingdoms nearby, you were well known for your work and there were many stories of you and your friends, you were known as a soldier and your two other friends were known as the poet and king, your friend was a writer and a witch she was known as "The Poet", she cast spells on her poems and read them to the monsters and creatures, they would fall asleep or die depending on how powerful she made the spell. Of course she had her weaknesses, her entire body was vulnerable to being attacked, she had to put all her focus into reading the spells, your other friend (Your brother) Katsuki was the King of dragons, he was "Friends" with the prince, they didn't really get along with each other and Katsuki complained about him a lot though. Also! He has a pet dragon or a friend, his name is Kirishima, he is a human of some sorts but can transform into a dragon. Both Katsuki and Kirishima's weaknesses is the time limit Kirishima has, he can only stay in his dragon form for about 3 hours at a time so for example, they could be in the air or the middle of a fight when he deforms.

 Multiple people such as adventurers and soldiers helped every now and then at the library to get some money for their travels, but you never expected the prince of all people to volunteer! You understood he had run away to travel with his friends, he did still live in the kingdom and you doubted that his father (The king Enji Todoroki aka Endeavor) was giving him any gold for him to survive, but you imagined that he would make his money off traveling and taking your place in your friend group (Of course they didn't just replace you and leave you behind all because you retired). All of the volunteers told the children stories about their travels and experiences with the many creatures. You entertained all the children while you waited for the prince. 

Your mom informed you that you needed to restock the book shelves, you went into the back and grabbed the used books that were returned. You hummed to yourself as you heard the front door to the library open, you were hidden behind the shelves but not on purpose. You made a small quiet giggle when you heard the children gasp, you could tell it was the price based on the children's excitement.
