The fluffy blue sky was absolutely perfect and the sun was beaming down on me. A patterned sun dress hugged me. I felt Joyce and carefree but the only thing on my mind was the water that was laping at the shore a few feet away. So I left my cozy place with my feet rising out of the creamy sand and rushing toward the sea. Adrenalin flowed though my body as my feet slipped away soft lumps of yellow sand.

"I'm free!" I cried out with happiness .As soon as the salt water rushed against my feet I smiled. Inside I felt my heart turn as red as a ripe tomato.

"What are you doing?" my friend, Me-Me, shouted. Her real name was Taylor but I called her Me-Me because she was a cheerleader and you know how cheerleader only care about themselves. Well she didn't but you get the point. I jogged backward still descending into the water which was now at my waist causing my sun dress to float in the water.

"Don't fight it friend! Be free like moi!" I cooed. She looked confused at first but the flipped of her saddles and joined me a smile spreading ear to ear. She'd always been better than me at anything sporty so she got to me in a flash! Then my hand dipped into the water.

"Don't. You. Dare!" she warned, staring at me with a fake glare. I turned my hands up at her sending droplets of water into her face and down her pink short-sleeved shirt. "Ugh!" she moaned

"Don't worry pink looks horrible on you anyway!" I mocked staring playfully at her. She returned my trickle with a wave, pushing a large amount of water all over me. I repeated it and that when on for about 5 minutes before we stopped doubling over in laughter. She looked at me a slight smile in her eyes.

"Can you believe it..." she started, "Summers nearly over and school starts tomorrow." I cocked my head to fit her shoulder and stuck my lip out in a pout.

"Don't worry we'll live," I explained. Then I took my head back and started tapping my fingers together like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons. "For now," I teased throwing my head chuckling. Then I plunged both our heads into the water.
