A LESSON LIFE HAS TAUGHT ME

chapter 3

Aliyu got to Aisha's house, she welcomed him and brought him some refreshment after resting for a while aliyu started a conversation (A for aliyu  I for aisha).
A: isha dear today is the day I've been waiting for , I want to tell u something that has been bothering in my heart , and today is the right day for me to tell u this.
I: (Aisha thought for a while, quite astonished) okey then tell me am all ears  aliyu dear.
A: Aisha ever since the first day I set my eyes I felt that I wanna to spend the rest of my laugh with u , I.......love .....you..isha , and I want to marry you, will.....you marry me.
A: (aisha started blushing and feeling shy ) I've been waiting for this day too, am speechless today this Is  the best proposal , and yes........am ready to marry you and spend the rest of my life with you .
           After there chit chat aliyu left for home , but still didnt say anything to sumayya the next day he went to Aisha's house and she introduced to her parents but her mother was not comfortable with him (aliyu). After aliyu left she called Aisha, this was there conversation ( m for mother and A for Aisha)
M: Aisha am not impressed by this aliyu , he is poor just look at the cloth he was wearing its very cheap, and ....why do u even want to marry him? , worst of all he is farmer.
       Then a voice answered from a far " shut up woman , if there are no farmers won't u starve with hunger, please keep quiet , let me tell you  farmers are the arrow of the nation , let aisha marry the person she wants and stay out of her way". It was aisha dad speaking , the mother kept and didn't utter any word then she started to look embarssed. Aisha replied " mommy I don't care wether he is poor or a farmer I love him just the way he is and u know in life we have to go through hardship before we can enjoy, mom please try to have a bit of love and respect for my husband". Her mom squeezed her face in anger then said " look ....go and marry whoever you want but if anything happens dont even think of coming back here.
Mister shinkafi (isha's father) heard them again then said " look asiya  ( mother) are u the owner of this house , u hv no right to make this decision ".  Aisha's father fired back at her mom.
Mean while aliyu got him he ate and had his shower  then sat down to talk to  his wife 
(A for aliyu and s for sumayya)
A: my lovely wife ........I want to tell u something today
S : okey then am all ears dear
A: the .....thing is......am.....get......getting..... m ....married to another woman .

That was heart breaking what do u think sumayya will do is  she going to agree or disagree , find out in my next chapter.
