Chapter 3

My dad's parents are separated. I grew up to know a strange woman came between them, this made my grandmum leave my granddad.
I also grew up to know according to my dad that she's a witch and she has done so many evil things.

That night, I showed my mum my result shit expecting to be praised but fortunately and unfortunately for me, my mum was tired and just asked for my position and trust me, I told her I was the 8th in the class. My mum just said good and promised to check it the next day then dozed off.
Phew that was settled at least, that was what I thought.
Later that night, my dad came home
and immediately, I showed him the result and guess what, he simply said "hmm 18th position. Try harder next term" as a wise person, I was supposed to just keep quiet because at that time, I could already see the 1 (one) I thought I cancelled faintly because the light available was low but the foolish me did not keep quiet, I told him it was not 18 but 8 immediately I said that my dad collected the report sheet and went through it then he pointed out lapses and said if I were to have had 8th position then I wouldn't have had low marks in some subjects.
Immediately he said that, I knew I had been caught and there was no hiding place but still being me, I tried to argue but all was to no avail.
Immediately, my dad asked me to confess but I still pretended to be confused Lol.... All my pretense stopped when he threatened to report me to my school's principal and of course, I didn't want that so I had to tell the truth. I told him all I did thinking that will be the end but unfortunately, my life was about to take a new turn.
