The first few rays of sunlight disrupted her eyes. Groaning, Terra started at the item she passionately resented.
Her closet door was reflected in the bronze coloured glasses. Terra could practically hear Jasmine telling her to wear them. 'Terra!' She would say. 'You need to wear them, so you can see COLOUR' Jasmine would then dramatically spread her arms in the air.
A bitter smile greeted Terra, but was soon replaced with a genuine one as she remembered her thoughts from the past night.
Forgetting her resentment, Terra put her glasses on and got out of bed and started getting ready.
Today, her outfit was a grey shirt with a owl on the front and black legging with her hair in a short and messy braid. Wanna guess who her godly parent is?
"Loki!!" Terra whinely called out, not bothering to hesitate. She knew herself well enough to know that if she gave herself time to rethink, she would back out. That was not very dauntless of her.
"What is it?" Loki questioned, stepping out of his room.
"Well," Terra started to blabber. "I've read this series called Magnus Chase, you see, it's about this 16 year old who dies and goes to Valhalla and goes on quests to stop Ragnarok, or at least delay it. He also has this sword called Jack, OH! and him and Alex are SO cute!! Anyways, I was wondering, does Valhalla exist??"
Loki blinked, taking in the new (and useless) information. "No, it does not exist and if you don't know," he informed her. "Ragnarok has been finished."
"But," Terra stammers. "But...you're supposed to die in Ragnarok, also you're supposed to be evil."
Loki rolled his eyes. "That is only what you pathetic creatures think," he sneered.
Terra wondered if he was offended. He must have been, since he didn't talk to her for the rest of the day. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. "Terra!" A voice shouted. "Do you wanna build a snowman?"
The brunette giggled, making her way to the front door. "Jazz," she sighed. "Don't."
With a sarcastic promise of stopping, Jasmine welcomed herself inside the house. "I brought clothes!" She exclaimed, holding up a plastic bag. "Give 'em to Mr Weirdo," Jasmine demanded rather than requested. "Now, for more important matters, Food."
The blondie walked towards the kitchen, looking for a snack. "What makes you think you're forgiven?" Terra asked. Yes, she had forgiven Jasmine, but she didn't want to seem desperate. You could say that the reason she had forgiven Jasmine was a bit........influenced by her social anxiety.
"Well, you've forgiven me 'cause I'm amazing" Jasmine reasoned, then stuffed her mouth with some oreos. "Also, 'cause I'm your only friend and you need me." She gave yet another reason for her forgiveness once she had swallowed the cream filled biscuits.
Terra scrunched her nose, unable to understand how anyone could like the bitter tasting sandwich cookie.
"Fine, I've forgiven you," the brunette admits.
"Knew it," Jasmine smirked. "Anyway, where's Mr. Weirdo?"
Terra simply shrugged and told Jasmine the tale of that morning.
"Actually," The brown-eyed girl realised. "I haven't seen him all day!"
Quietly, Jasmine and Terra creeped up to the chestnut coloured door. The one that opened to Loki's room.
