~Trey~

"Hey man what's up?" All of Treys friends say.
"Nothing much... How was your guys's break?" Trey yawns.
"Eh the best I got out of it was shooting some hoops with my bros." Grant cheered sarcastically.
"Did you get your shadow yet?" Tyler asks.
Great, new kids come today, I thought to my self, There are never any cute new girls.
"Uhh no not yet I'll go up front and check... Wish me luck." I say with a smirk on my face.
I walk to the Front Office and look at the Shadow List.
"Please don't have my name on here, please don't put my name on here." I pray, "Oh great... I get a loser named Savannah."
I walk down the hall and go to my first period, Science.
"What a great way to start my first day of coming back from summer break." I say as I fall asleep walking to my locker.
I notice people surrounding my locker and I check to see what's going on.
"Seriously... The girls have to get into an argument around my locker." I complain.
I head over there to see what's going on...
And then all of a sudden the girls parted leaving a shining angelic figure standing all alone, like clouds parting leaving the shimmering sun.
"Whoa." I say as my mouth dropped.
"Hey. My name is Trey...and your name is?"
"My name is Savannah, and I believe that I am your shadow."
I stood there in awe as Savannah made her way over to me.
"What's your number?" I ask.
"..." Savannah says nothing.
"Oops did I say that out loud?" I apologize.
All the girls laugh at me. Thankfully the bell rang and it's time to go to class. All the girls leave and just me and Savannah just stand there.
"This way," I point towards my language arts room and me and Savannah head over.
"Umm about my number... If you want it you can have it..." Savannah says shyly.
"Sure that would be great." I say, "Can I get it after class?"
"Yea." Savannah says.
SCORE! I GET A GIRLS NUMBER IN THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL? IM DOING PRETTY GOOD :)

After Language Class:

"Hey so about that number... Did you forget?"
"Haha nope, here's my number 303-960-7432"
"Thanks umm will you be okay at lunch sitting by yourself?"
"Haha yup... All the girls are fighting about me to see if I would be in one of their groups and they're making me choose."
"Haha up that's the girls."
"Hey wanna go to the mall in the afternoon?" Savannah asks Trey.
"Sure let me text my mom," I say excited.
"Has your mom said anything yet?" Savannah asks quietly.
"SHE SAID YES!!!" I scream.
"Haha umm... I'll see you at Park Meadows at 4:00?," Savannah says.
"Alright," I smile.

At the mall:

"What stores you want to go to?" I ask.
"Forever 21, Love Culture, H&M, and Victoria Secret," Savannah says, " What about you?"
"uhh... Mall Food :)"
"Do you like Panda Express?"
"Is that even a question? I love Chinese food!"
"You're buying :)" Savannah giggles as she walks over to the cafeteria.
I go ahead and buy Panda Express for us and we walk over to find a table. We sit down and start eating.
"You're a really awesome person to talk to," I blush, "We should hangout more-"
I see Danielle from school walk through the doors.
"OMG hey Trey! I didn't expect to see you here!" Danielle says cheerfully.
"Yea at the mall with my shadow."
"OOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Danielle says excited.
"What? It's nothing personal."
Danielle walks over to Savannah.
"Hey you're the new girl everyone's talking about right?" Danielle asks.
"Haha yup."
"Soo... I heard about what happened at the lockers..."
"Yuup... I don't even know why I'm so special to them."
"Dude that's them it's like clique vs clique they always want to recruit people to their group and choose people they like."
"Seriously? That's horrible! Forget joining a group... I think that I'm gonna just hang with you guys."
"xD do you think Trey's nice?"
"umm... Yea sure... He's way nicer than the guys at my old school."
"Well Trey does have a past with some of these girls so if he asks you out make the right decision."
"SAVANNAH DON'T YOU DARE LISTEN TO DANIELLE ALL SHE SAYS IS LIES!" I shout.
"Shut up okay?" Danielle says.
"Well I don't think you're a bad person..."
I freeze. I feel like time stopped moving. I don't even know why but now my heart beats really fast. Is it because I like her? Because that's the nicest thing a girl has ever said to me in a while?
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Danielle says with a big smile on her face.
"What? I only like him as a friend and that's it." Savannah says under her breath.
"You're the worst liar ever! It's totally obvious that you two like each other!"
Awkward silence.
"Uhh I think I'm gonna go." Danielle runs off with some of my food.
Awkward silence continues.
"Umm well I think I have to go finish homework." Savannah lies.
"Wait I thought that we didn't- umm yea I'll see you at school tomorrow.
Savannah walks away.
Great. Now everything is just going to be awkward tomorrow...
"You still have my number right?" Savannah asks.
"Umm yea why?" I say confused.
"Just incase I need help with the 'homework' I could call you..." Savannah flirts.
Awkward silence begins again. My heart beats so fast. I don't even know why.
