"Oh shit! Wake up. Wake up you bitch. Excuse my language, Mrs. Thayer. I know you're not dead, whores don't die so quick!"
I swung my arm and was satisfied when it hit something and the yelling stopped. Ugh, who is that with the annoying voice?
"Shut up..." My voice was rough, more than I expected it to be. I sighed and scrunched my face, feeling light-headed. The series of minute events taking place was confusing. Where am I?
"Vivaine, are you alright?" That was a beautiful voice that I felt coming from in front of me. I wanted to open my eyes. I partially opened them, squinting for a split second and then shutting them back again due to the brightness.
There was a soft hand on one of my cheeks, couldn't guess which one. It slid down to my jaw and tap it a few times. I moved my face towards the gentle hand and couldn't help but smile as the fingers tickled my face.
"Ah! She's up. If you don't mind Mrs. Thayer, I know what I just need to do."
The warm consoling hands were gone and were replaced by cold rough hands that harshly patted my cheeks. It didn't take long for my body to sit up and fight back. Although as soon as I sat up, my eyes opened like saucers, and then I blinked so I could adjust myself.
"Jacob! You shouldn't have done that."
"Oh, it got the job done, didn't it?"
"Are you okay, Miss Valentine?" Mrs. Thayer asked me. I squinted my eyes at her. How the hell did I end up in this situation with her and- oh and this bitch too?
"I am, I'm good." I lied since I didn't know how I really was. I felt nothing and that's better than pain, right?
"You fainted. Are you sure you are eating enough? I'm sorry but I'll have to call your parents."
"Is this your car?" I looked around and sure it looked expensive as hell. Was this an Audi or maybe a Mercedes, I don't know. I'm not a car enthusiast.
"Mr. Priestly?" Mrs. Thayer called him making him look up from his phone. Ugh, stupid idiot.
"Yes?"
"I'll just go to the office to make a call to her parents about this. Meanwhile, take her home safely. I trust you both." Pausing she glanced at me, "Is that okay Miss Valentine?"
I nodded without thinking and With one last skeptical glance, Mrs. Thayer left us in her car not before keeping a bottle of water next to me.
"So, what's her name?" Jacob asked as soon as she was out of sight. I shifted comfortably on the seat, stretching my neck.
"I don't remember, asshole. I just fainted, remember?" I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, yeah. I don't understand how someone can just pass out like that. What drugs are you on?" He shrugged.
"Excuse me?" I asked a little offended that he thinks I passed out just because I'm high.
"Oh, I asked where is your house. I have to drop you off, remember?" He slyly smirked.
This was another time for me to roll my eyes. "I have a car and I can go home by myself."
"Oh come on," he whined. "Your favorite teacher asks you to do this one thing. I think you gotta do it." He dramatized, swinging the car keys around his index finger.
"And maybe I'll stop troubling you like this," He quickly added, looking like he felt humiliated saying those words.
"Yeah sure," I chuckled bitterly. Of course, he doesn't even know how to lie.
