While this won't be the last revision as I'm constantly modifying, improving, and learning, for until the end of this book, it will be. Currently, I've reframed the Canaan: My World To Live series as simply Canaan. No longer a trilogy, I'm roughly estimating the length to be 8 books. The first is this, "Promise of the World" in which Essairyn arrives and strives to live for herself in a new world of magic and opportunity from a worn-down existence on Earth.
Since I already have a lot of the story written in a web-serial length format, the main purpose of this revision was to condense and reformat it into a single standalone book in a series. I had aimed for this previously, but the story ended up being much longer than expected. I'm not sure if I'll make it in time, but I'm hoping to finish edits in time for the Wattys (my first time every joining). Regardless, I still needed to make this revision.
Previously, chapters were broken into 2-3k words long story parts, but now, I'm keeping them whole for better flow. I had originally intended for this to be read in a novel/print book format rather than a web series anyway.
When the book chapters are finished and all uploaded, I'll change the book cover accordingly to the new title in the series. ...probably xD if I don't get lazy or super busy.
