"jimin. . ."

"park jimin, wake up!"

jimin's eyes fluttered open, transported back into his family's home and his fifteen year old body. police and paramedics surrounded him, one shined a flashlight onto him with a stern look. he squinted his eyes barely able to see with the bright light, but what he could make out bemused the boy.

red paint was splattered onto his flesh, drenching his clothes as he rested in a pool of paint.

no, this wasn't paint, this was blood. once he observed his surroundings more in depth, he at last understood why the police and paramedics where the ones to awoke him.

his mother and father corpses rested only the ground beside him, a bloody knife thrown in the distance. jimin glanced down at the pool of blood he sat in, his face retorting in horror with a mix of disgust.

"AAAAHHHHHH!!" he jumped onto his feet, reality settling in as he heaved up and down for air, the boy's eyes bugging out.

"contain him!" a man yelled, a pair of strong arms grabbed jimin from behind as he struggled for his life. it was no use as the boy weighed a whopping 60kg and the man who held him was much bigger.

jimin was thrown into the back off the ambulance outside his home, immediately being strapped down. before the doors slammed shut, he caught a glimpse of his parents being brought out on gurneys.

"park jimin's fingerprints were not found on the weapon after we finished our dna testing," the forensic turned to the therapist who was also examining the files diligently, adding, "i don't think he's our murderer, just look at the distraught state he's been in since being transported," she pointed up to the screen where jimin was being monitored.

the therapist remained silent, setting down the folder and adjusting his pristine, white jacket. he headed for the exit, a sly smirk daring to tug at his lips when he replied before leaving, "keep him detained anyway, i'll study him tomorrow morning. . ."

"of course, mister jeon."
