Train Ride (1-1)

  I wave to my mum and dad as I bored the Hogwarts train off to my first year. I walk down the aisle of the compartments trying to find an empty one. As I was about to lose hope I spot the second to last one at the end of the aisle. I quickly rush to it then sit down with a sigh "It sucks to not know anyone being a muggle." After I sigh to myself a blonde boy with eyes as grey-blue like daggers followed by two other bigger looking guys come into my compartment. "What do you think you are doing in my compartment?!" the skinny blonde says to me annoyed. "Your compartment! I don't see anyone's name on it so it's not yours at all." The boy looks at me with disgust "Who do you think I am!" The two other boys laugh behind him saying "Yeah who do you think you are talking back to us." I look at the three boys' sympathy and guilt flooding my eyes "Sorry if you would like you can join me, the names Y/N L/N." Taken aback by shock the blonde boy says "This is Crab and Goyle, and I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy, it would be my pleaser to join you." "Sorry for being mean earlier I'm just nervous, new to this whole magic thing," I say hoping to get an apology back, yeah that never happened. "Are you telling me that you are a mudblood?" Draco says looking me up and down. "What's a mudblood?" "A mudblood is someone born with parents who don't have any magic, or in other words a muggle-born." After Draco explains I understand because I've been reading all summer about the wizarding world. "Oh yeah I guess you could call me a mudblood, what do you not like my kind?" I said a little confused. "Look L/N it's not that I don't like mudbloods its just my family doesn't interact with them." Crab and Goyle snicker in the background while stuffing their faces with sweets. "So will we not be talking much?" "I'm afraid, not sorry." Before they left to go put on their robes we were told to wear for the "opening ceremony" I was curious about one more thing "Hey Draco, what house do you think you will be sorted into?" "Most likely Slytherin, my whole family is made up of pureblooded Slytherin, what about you L/N?" "Please call me Y/N, but I'm not too sure... maybe Ravenclaw?" Draco says with a sigh "Well at least you may not be Griffendor, they are the worse (sorry if you are a Gryffindor who is reading this) but Ravenclaw is decent, that's the house I'd want to be in if I'm not sorted into Slytherin." "Well you better get going Malfoy you still need to get into your robes, same with you Crab and Goyle." Draco and the others look down at themselves "I guess with do well goodbye Y/N we may see each other around." I wave goodbye to the boys as Draco closes the door to the compartment.
