"Mai I'm so sorry," Jin cried and pulled Mai to his chest and hugged her tight, "Brother what is happening?"
Jins warm tears fell onto Mais head as the dog ears went away. He was so hurt and didn't know what to tell Mai, He didn't even know what they were going to do.
"It's gonna be okay," He kept his arms wrapped around her as cars flew by them into the main city.
"Let's go to this city over here okay?" Jin pointed to the main city which was a few miles away. "Ok,"
They began walking along the highway and interlocked hands, Jin barely had any money in his pocket. He only had about $12 and some change.. He wanted to save it to buy a blanket because it was fall time and it gets cold at night during the fall season.
"Mai, If you see any animals touch them to see if it makes you turn into them!" Jin said trying to cheer up the mood. "Ok,"
They walked and walked and walked for a few hours until they got to the main city. They've never been there before, There were cars beeping, people yelling, kids playing in the alleyways. It was around 5pm now and it was dinner time.
"Who's that?" Mai pointed to a boy with green hair and a boy with blonde hair and a boy with wings.
"Oh some little boys playing around, I'm gonna go into this store real quick okay? You can go play with them if you'd like, They look like they're your age," Jin said while him and Mai watched the young boys play soccer in an alley way.
"Ok," Mai walked over to the alley way with the young boys while Jin went inside of a cafe to pickup food.
"Who are you?" The young but with blonde hair asked as she approached them.
"I'm Mai B," Mai said to them and put her hands behind her back. "Hi Mai! Wanna play with us?" The boy with green hair smiled and asked.
"Idiot! We don't know her!" The blonde hair boy shouted. "But she seems nice!"
"I don't care! Let's just keep playing," The blonde hair boy kicked the soccer ball at the other boys face.
"Ouch!" The boy rubbed his cheek.
"Mai, You can watch if you'd like!" The green hair boy said, "Oh and by the way, I'm Izuku Midoriya!"
"Hi Izuku and ok," Mai stepped next to Izuku and started playing soccer with the boys.
"AHHHH Theres a rat!!!" The blonde hair boy jumped and screeched. "A rat? They won't hurt you, Where is it?" Mai asked. She wanted to test her quirk.
"Whatre you crazy? It's right over here," Blonde boy pointed to behind a trash can. Mai started walking over to the trash can as the boys watched her in confusion. "Here don't be scared little rat!" Mai picked up the rat by its tail.
"What the heck? Why do you have rat ears? And a rat tail!" The blonde boy shouted and pointed.
"It's my super power! I can turn into whatever animal I touch!" Mai said as she pet the rat.
"That's so cool! I don't have my quirk yet," Izuku looked at the ground. "Yeah he's a quirkless loser," The boy with wings said.
"Oh don't be rude that's not nice!" Mai placed the rat down on the wet ground and it started to skid away while squeaking.
"But it's true!" The blonde boy shouted.
"I'm sure he will get his quirk someday! But for now-" Mai was saying until she heard someone yelling her name.
"Mai!!! Time to go!" Jin said as he stood in the alleyway with a few water bottles and some snacks.
"Who's that?" Izuku asked. "That's my brother, Jin! But I'll see you guys someday!" Mai smiled and waved. She skipped over to her brother Jin and grabbed his hand and walked away.
"That's her brother? He looks like he's 50," The blonde boy cringed. "Kacchan! Be nice! He doesn't even look 50!"
