In a month, Allore would be climbing aboard the Hogwarts express, from an odd platform, 9 and 3/4s? That was what the professor had told Allore. A red train would be waiting for her and all the other students and leave exactly at 11am. Miss it she missed going to school.

However this was a worry for the future Allore. Right now she was stepping into an alley. Diagon Alley to be precise.

Trying not to walk around with her mouth a gape, holding her mothers hand tightly as her parents looked over the list and around. The professor had told the Kim's that their muggle money was no good here, they would need to go into Gringotts, the wizarding bank. There they could exchange their muggle currency for gallons, sickles and knuts. A coin currency that was going to be a complete change for the Kims.

Walking down the Alley on the hot end of summer day strolling down. As they passed Allore heard conversation after conversation and multiple mentions of a name. "Harry Potter." Was all she caught, but nothing more. Shaking it off as they arrived at the front doors of the bank. Taking a deep breath her family entered, the noise not stopping but the goblins small eyes glaring over at the muggle parents and their small witch daughter.

Walking over to one of the goblins they were able to get the money enchanted fairly easily. It wasn't the most pleasant of transactions. The goblins were obviously not very happy about the muggles handling the money as Allore's parents shoved the money in a pouch and in their pocket. "Let's go." Her father said in a voice that said they better get out of there before the goblins changed their mind about letting them exchange their currencies.

Smiling Allore and Luna followed Nathen out of the bank and breathed the fresh air and laughed slightly. Holding her mothers hand tightly as Nathen stood up and put his hand on his hips. "Well Allore, what should we buy from this list first?" He said with a twinkle in his eye. He knew how happy this was making her. How proud and supportive they were after finding out that their only daughter was a witch. It must have been a huge things for them. They were normal, well as normal as Irish farmers that live in the countryside could be. Allore had never been embarrassed of her parents. They weren't as odd as she was, but they love her dearly.

"I think..." poking her lips as she thought and smiling brightly. "How about we head to the book shops first, maybe you guys can find some books to learn as well!" She said proudly. Her parents were the kind of people to want to learn as much as they could about any subject. This gave them a very good reason to learn things they hadn't even known was possible to learn. "Sounds like a fantastic idea a leanbh." Her father said in his thick Irish accent. Taking her free hand the three of them headed to Flourish and Blotts the book shop down the alley a ways.

Stepping into the shop it smelled of old and new books. It was nice, her father handed her her list and let her off by herself to find her books. They went to talk to the owner to ask if there was anything they would suggest for a muggle to read to better understand their witch daughter.

Walking down the small rows, they seemed pretty empty as she looked from her list to the shelves. Not sure how this was even organized Allore began her search in the back rows, looking from her list to the shelves enough that she didn't see the other boy looking at the shelf. Walking straight into the boy her face buried in the list as she fell, both of them now on their behinds, the paper from Allore's hand floating down.

"I'm so sorry!" Allore cried out looking at the boys crooked glasses afraid she was the one that had cause his glasses to break more that they seemed to already be. From his fluffy hair, scar, glasses, down to his bright green eyes Allore seemed to freeze. Boys were not usually the kindest to her from her experiences.

"I am sorry!" The boy cried almost just after her.

Staring at one another they both started to giggle a bit realizing they both were not angry and felt t was their fault. The boy picked up the paper that landed in front of him and handed it to Allore who took it and smiled. Both standing up Allore brushed her knees off.

"You're a first year too?" The boy asked motioning to the paper that was in her hand welcoming her to Hogwarts. Nodding she smiled. "Does that mean your a first year as well?" She said excitedly. Another wizard! This was her first time meeting one besides the professor face to face. Especially her age. "Yeah, it's my first year." He smiled back at her. "Ah, did you grow up like this? You'll have to help me!" She said cheerfully. "I'm Allore, Allore Kim." She said smiling her toothy grin and sticking out her hand. "Ah Harry Potter." He said and smiled taking it. "No- I actually just learned I'm a wizard-"

He was cut off by a loud voice from the front calling for him. "Ah I gotta go!" He said and headed past her and waved. "I'll see you at Hogwarts then!" Allore called out to the boy named Harry who was now leaving with a very large man, almost a giant it seemed, with a large beard. Watching him she turned back to the books finally finding the ones one the list and heading back to her parents who had a coupe books as well. Ones like. "You're Child is a Wizard, Now What?" and "What YOU Need to Know as a Muggle." All of similar titles and styles. Buying it with some galleons they headed to the next shop.

Getting her cauldron (pewter size 2 of course) as well as her other items on the list. All that was left was her wand, owl and uniform.

Stepping into the Madam Malkin's, there was no one else there when she started to gey sized for her robes. The shops owner kind as she measured the small Allore and had the magic help her hem up the robes to fit her better. It wasn't long before there was a boy next to her. His white blond hair seemed to make his pale skin even paler. Slicked back as the measurements started. Looking over at the girl he scoffed. "You're obviously not a pure-blood, who are you?" The boy asked.

This was much different than the Harry Potter boy she had met in Flourish and Blotts. "Um, I'm Allore, Allore Kim." She stated as the magic was finishing with her hemming. "I'm not sure what a pure-blood is. I just found out I'm a witch." She said stepping down before the boy could say much more. "Well I am Malfoy. Draco Malfoy and you'll soon learn how important blood is around here." He sneered at her as Allore walked off towards her parents. Paying for the robes she sat and thought. Blood type, she must not be a pure-blood, maybe that meant people born from witches ad wizards? Why did that matter anyway? Did it effect how good you were at magic?

Thinking as they headed to Ollivander's wand shop. Stepping in the three of them looked around, a man much smaller than Mr. Kim stepped out of the back and smiled. "Ah, another first year? Had a couple today."

The smile on the mans face made Allore feel safe as he motioned her forward. Explaining that the wand chooses the wizard and not the other way around Ollivander walked and grabbed a want taking it out and handing it gently to Allore. "Give it a wave." He told her noticing her obvious confusion on what she was suppose to do with the wood in her hand. Waving it she felt a warmth like no other and the man smiled. "And this wand chooses you. 11 and 3/4th elk, unicorn hair core." He said. Memorizing what he had said, it must mean something no?

Taking the wand and wrapping it her parents paid and they headed out. Last stop was to get an owl. Most wizard families had owls and yes the school did have owls of their own that Allore could use to communicare with her parents if she please. However it had been decided that she would be getting her own owl. That was it was hers and her families way to communicate as well.

Stepping into Eeylop's Owl Emporium Allore was drawn in by a small Northern white-faced owl. Grey and small it hooted at Allore. "Father can I get this one?" Allore asked as the small owl bumped its head into her hand. Smiling as he held his wife. HIs child finally felt as if she was part of something, normal. He could tell and it made him so happy to see her become the girl he knew she could be. "Of course leanbh, whichever you want."

Smiling she picked her owl and they headed home.

On the way home Allore kept thinking of the boy with the scar on his forehead. "Harry Potter." His name was the one whispered around. And then there was the Malfoy boy and what he said about blood. Allore only hoped he was wrong. Leaning against her mother she let her eyes close, the owl hooted a goodnight as Allore slipped into dreams of wizards, shops, spells and the two boys she met. All as the train made its way to her home.
