Theory thing that I used as canon for this version of the AU. ^^
I slightly tweaked the original version of the AU, which you can read in the description of the video linked above, so Hollyleaf dies minutes after being attacked by Hawkfrost, before Bramblestar names a deputy, so the theory in the second link can be canon, and so StarClan is an identical area to the clan territories, but is kind of a spirit world. I did not come up with this AU, I just wrote the fanfiction here. You may use this as inspiration for other stuff if you want. Fanfiction starts below this line:

Hollyleaf opened her eyes. She was in the middle of ThunderClan's camp; the scent of oak and beech trees filled the air. She couldn't feel the pain that should have been inflicted by her fatal wounds. In fact, her wounds were gone as well. Then she understood. She was in StarClan.
She began to walk around the camp, trying to find someone, anyone who she could talk to. After a few moments, she saw a flame-colored pelt in the distance. Firestar.
"Firestar!" Hollyleaf meowed, rushing over to meet him. Was he dead too?
"Hello Hollyleaf." Firestar looked at her with kindness in his eyes. "Please follow me."
Confused, Hollyleaf followed Firestar. They came to the Moonpool, where five other cats were waiting. Hollyleaf recognized two of them, Fallen Leaves and Ashfur.
Before she could ask what was going on, the white she-cat began to speak. "We must wait for the others before we begin."
Moments later, three more cats appeared. Hollyleaf immediately recognized them as Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovewing. But they didn't die, did they? How else could they be here though?
"Welcome back to StarClan Jay's Wing, Lion's Roar, and Dove's Wing," the white she-cat mewed.
"It's nice to see you again Half Moon," meowed Jay's Wing.
So that's not Jayfeather, Lionblaze, or Dovewing. That means that they're still alive!
"Actually, we are them, Hollyleaf, but I'll explain that later," meowed Jay's Wing, reading her mind like Jayfeather always could.
"Shall we begin?" asked the dark grey tom.
"Can someone please tell me what's going on?" Hollyleaf mewed, still trying to process everything that happened.
"We're sending you back to the clans," meowed Fallen Leaves, "You're going to be clan leader now that Brambleclaw stepped down as leader."
The dark grey tom stepped forward. "My name is Grey Wing," he meowed, "We knew each-other in your first life. You were known as Shadowstar." Grey Wing paused for a moment. "With this life i give you friendship. Your friends are here to support you in your darkest hours. Don't forget that." He touched his nose to Hollyleaf's head. She felt a warmth spread throughout her body, making her feel protected. Grey Wing stepped back into the group.
The silver tabby she-cat then stepped towards Hollyleaf. "I am Feathertail," she meowed, "I was Crowfeather's first love. With this life I give you loyalty," she touched her nose to Hollyleaf's head. Hollyleaf felt a pain like that of a fire coursing through her veins. "Use it well to be loyal to your clan and those you care about," Feathertail meowed, with a glance towards Fallen Leaves. She stepped away to join the others.
Dove's Wing stepped towards Hollyleaf. "Hollyleaf," she meowed, "With this life I give you confidence." Dove's Wing touched her nose to Hollyleaf's head. She felt a pain as if she was being torn apart. "Use this life well to have confidence in yourself and others." Dove's Wing went back to her spot beside Jay's Wing.
Ashfur stepped towards Hollyleaf, his eyes full of regret. "I'm sorry for what I said," Ashfur meowed, "It was completely uncalled for and hurtful towards you and your family. The least I can do to try to make up for it is by giving you a life." Ashfur bowed his head respectfully, and after a pause, he spoke again. "With this life I give you forgiveness." He touched his nose to Hollyleaf's head. I won't be able to make it through receiving these next six lives. But I have to. I have a clan to protect. Then she felt a wave of pain as if her body was decaying while she was still alive, but as the pain began to fade, she felt healed. "Use this life well to forgive and to be forgiven." Ashfur paused for a moment before going back to the others. "I forgive you Hollyleaf."
Jay's Wing stepped out from his place between Dove's Wing and Half Moon. He looked at Hollyleaf and smiled. "Hollyleaf. With this life I give you trust." He touched his nose to Hollyleaf's head. Hollyleaf because overwhelmed with pain, causing her to almost collapse. The pain was as if every bone in her body had been broken all at once. Jay's Wing gave her a moment to recover before continuing. "Use it well to put your trust in others, and to trust yourself." He stepped back into his spot in the group.
Half Moon stepped towards Hollyleaf. "Greetings Hollyleaf. I am Half Moon, the first Stoneteller. I too knew you as Shadowstar, and you haven't changed one bit. With this life, Hollyleaf, I give you happiness," she touched her nose to Hollyleaf's head. Hollyleaf felt a slight tingling sensation, but nothing more. "Use it to inspire happiness in others and to be happy yourself." Half Moon walked back to sit beside Jay's Wing. Just three lives left.
Lion's Roar stepped out from the group. "With this life I give you truth," he touched his nose to Hollyleaf's head. She felt energy flow through her, feeling a pain as if it was scorching her body. "Use it well to always tell the truth and to know the truth behind others actions." He stepped back to the group.
Firestar took a few steps towards Hollyleaf, smiling with pride. "Hollyleaf. With this life I give you pride." He touched his nose to Hollyleaf's head. She felt pain as if she was being crushed. "Use this life well to be proud of yourself, your clan, and especially those you care about." Firestar walked back into the group.
Fallen Leaves, seeing that everyone else had given Hollyleaf lives, left the group to give Hollyleaf a life. "Hollyleaf," he mewed softly, "With this life, I give you love." He touched noses with Hollyleaf. Hollyleaf felt a warmth blanket her, making her feel loved. "Use it well to care about your kin and to be cared about by others, and by me." He stood there for a moment before forcing himself to take a step back and to continue the ceremony. "I hail you by your new name, Hollystar. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of ThunderClan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity."
"Hollystar!" "Hollystar!" StarClan yowled her new name. She was now clan leader.
After the ceremony, Hollystar walked over to Jay's Wing. "So what do we do now Jay's Wing?"
"Now," Jay's Wing meowed to Hollystar, Lion's Roar, and Dove's Wing, "the four of us wake up."
And Hollystar opened her eyes.
