A Feeling Of My Heart...

An Untold Truth

It was the last day of Kevin in the college and for everyone too. Everybody was hugging and bidding adieu to each other and the college for giving such memorable memories over last four years.

Kevin was also emotionally touched. He moved towards the Alyce who greeted him "Hi!" with a cherishing smile which just made his day even in worst circumstances.

Kevin too greeted her with a smile and asked her, "Will you come with me for a walk around the college corridor? I want to talk to you about something."

"Sure! Let's go", she replied.

Walking down, he constantly gazed at her face which lightened up more when sun rays just incident over it. Meanwhile, he tended to just stay face another side whenever she noticed him seeing her. Finally, she asked, "Why are you watching me like this? Is there anything you wanted to tell me? You were also saying outside about something you want to talk to me. "

He stopped and faced her but remained calm and silent. "Will you please tell now?", she asked.

He started, "Do you remember the night of your 19th birthday?"

"Yeah! Next day was our exam of engineering mechanics. So, what?", she replied.

"That day, some really bad messages came from my  Instagram I'd on your account", he continued.

"Well! I have forgotten that birthday affair. I don't need to talk about it", she said.

"I want to tell something about that birthday night which I lied to you earlier", he replied.

"Okay. Tell!", she replied.

"I knew about those messages that night only. It was not from you I got to knew about those messages. It was... sent by my college friend to you in front of me. I told him not to do so but I couldn't stop him", he said.

"But I think I also wanted him to message you because I think I liked you. I thought may he make you understand what I feel for you but I think I was wrong. He hurt you and the great bond which we shared earlier broke up and we just became friends of the name. You stopped sharing feelings of your's to me because I think you were fear of now talking to me because of that incident", he continued.

"I was not fear of you Kevin and I never will. You are a good person and a very close friend of mine. I just don't share my feelings with others very much. It is in my nature. You don't need to be sorry. It happens. But make sure you don't let it happen again in your life?", she replied.

"Well! Who was that friend who talked to me on chat that night?", she asked.

"I can tell, but promise you won't tell anybody. You wouldn't even talk to him about this talk", he said.

"Sure! You don't worry. I am just asking", she replied.

"Sam! The one who left this college in the second year to move to another college due to low academic scores", he replied.

"Okay.
You need not blame yourself now. It was past and it is gone now", she told seeing in his eyes.

Kevin with a spark in eyes spoke, "You will always be a very good friend of mine. No matter how many mistakes I did, you always cared for me. Thanks for being there for me always. I will never forget you in my life."

"That's what the best friends do Kevin", she said smiling towards him.

Alyce pointed out towards the sky and stated, "Evening is falling down. I guess we should move now."

"Sure!", he replied.

And, they went to the exit door of the college together after a long time after the incident that changed their bond totally. Both Kevin and Alyce smiled and bid adieu by hugging each other at the exit gate and moved toward their paths.

Kevin was relaxed from the heart after telling the truth to her. But inner from the heart he felt, "What if that incident had never happened in his life? Might she would have been his love today!"
