Cherri looks at Angel plainly while sitting at the end of her bed, "so you think that The Radio Demon is devising some elaborate plan to get revenge on Viv?"
"Yes," Angel nods and pacing back and forth. All four of his arms were crossed and his hair seemed messier then usually.
"Angie do you really think that Alastor would be willing to screw with her again...?" She asks as her eye blinks.
He sighs and looks at her, "that's what Viv says! But he is the Radio Demon for fuck sakes! He could be plotting something fucked up, and it's our job as her friends to prevent him from hurting her!" He was now standing in front of her with his arms spread wide and with a frown.
She lays back on her bed and shuts her eye, "Angel. As much as I'm with you about protecting Viv, I have to admit that maybe her being with Al possibly is good."
He looks at her confused, "what?!"
"I said maybe it's good that they might get back together." The she-sinner says propping herself up on her elbows to see him.
He grits his teeth a bit and asks, "Okay but how? How could that be good for Viv?"
"Well for one she'll be happier." She says sitting up now and crossing her legs and holding up one finger. "Two," She says holding up a second finger. "She will stop drinking all hours of the day, three," she puts up another finger. "She may stop having those episodes that we never really understood," she says looking at him sympathetically.
His eyes look down as he frowns remembering the episodes Vivan had. Most were full of rage and fire and always ended up with a burning room or building. There were a few that he just remembers her being quiet and laying down for days without a word being spoken. "That may be true but is he really the one who should help her with that? I mean he is more screwed up than a lot of sinners and demons so isn't he the last one who could be beneficial to helping her?" He says shrugging a bit and feeling upset a bit.
She gets up worried and goes up to him. She looks up at him and gives him a small smile. "Hey all we can do is help her find whatever happiness she can get down here, even if that happiness could lie with Alastor. I mean we are her friends and friends help their friends." She puts a hand on his shoulder and rubs it gently.
He sighs and nods, "y-yeah...I guess so...I'm just worried that we'll end up seeing her broken.... I mean when I first let her she was a mess, but never told me why... but I'm guessing Alastor was the reason why now. I just don't want her to get hurt again like that."
She looks at him with an understanding eye, "I get that but Angie sometimes you've got to let people choose their own paths without bubble wrapping them."
He nods and lets out a big huff, "your right. I may not be happy about it but you are right."
She smiles a bit more, "l always am, aren't I?"
He chuckles and hugs her with all his arms, "Yeah, and you always talk me out of doing really stupid shit, so thank you."
"Don't mention it Angel," she laughs. She hears her phone go off and pulls away from him and picks it up reading the text.
"Hey,Why didn't you tell me Charlie wants my pyrotechnical skills for her open house thing tonight?" She asks looking over her shoulder at Angel.
"Shit!" Angel shouts and groans rubbing his face. "I completely forgot about that," he huffs.
"Well it wouldn't be the first time you forgot something," Cherri laughs texting Charlie back that she'd help.
He glares at her in a joking manner, "so funny."
She laughs a bit more, "I know it was! Now let's get our asses to the hotel!"
~
Vivan furrows her brows as Charlie talks to her about the schedule. "So I'm gonna have a duet with Angel, you, then I'll sing some songs?" Vivan asks, holding the paper with the schedule on it.
Charlie nods getting up from her desk smiling, "Yep! That's it!"
Vivan nods and looks at Charlie as she goes to the window. She goes and stands with her watching the booths and rides be put up outside the hotel. "Well I can promise that I will do my best," she smiles.
Charlie smiles at her, "and I thank you for that. It will be one less stress off my back."
Vivan frowns looking at her, "what is stressing you out the most?" She asks curiously and a bit worried.
"Well for one, I'm stressed since this is an open house for the hotel...and if things go terribly then sinners will walk away. Now for a second stressor I'm a bit worried about having Cherri do the fireworks show at the end but I know that she has the talent for it. And finally I don't want any of Al's weird rivals and enemies coming by to ruin it." She says and lets out a deep huff of air.
Vivan laughs a bit, "well I know Cherri will be fine. She takes her work very seriously. I can't promise that something won't go terribly wrong, I mean it's hell but we all will do our best to roll with what happens. And as for that last one..." she trails off. "I don't know if Al's weird and powerful rivals will show up but if they do maybe as the princess of Hell you could persuade them not to or we can all deal with them?" Vivan says tapping her chin.
Charlie smiles a bit appearing less stressed, "watch out there, you're starting to sound like a team player who wants to help see redemptions happen."
Vivan looks a bit surprised and then laughs lightly thinking over her words again, "maybe I want to see that happen."
"Really?!" Charlie grins and holds Vivian's hands happily.
Vivan leans back words a bit, "personal space..."
"Oh! Yeah sorry," Charlie says, pulling back and laughing a bit.
"It's alright," Vivan says with a smile. She turns and starts heading to the door, "Well I'm gonna go and practice some more with Angel and I'll practice with you when you come down to the stage Alright?"
Charlie nods, seeming in better spirits, "Alright!"
Vivan smiles and goes out the door smiling a bit. She takes in a deep breath and then starts down the hall to the elevator. She presses the button and it opens up. She smiles and steps inside pressing the lobby button and the doors close. She hums to herself as she watches the floor numbers go down. She frowns as the elevator stops at a floor and the doors open. She frowns a bit looking up at the grinning face, "going down?" Vivan nods a bit as Alastor steps in. He smiles, "splendid!"
She rolls her eyes smiling just a little, "so what are you doing for the open house fair?"
"I will be keeping an eye on everything and I will be singing a duet with you." He smiles a bit looking forward.
"What?" She asks, looking at him confused.
"I said I'm keeping an eye on the festivities and I will be doing a duet with you," He chuckles.
She gets a bit quiet and looks at him silently frustrated, "why now? You never wanted to do one with me when we were together."
"Well my dear I suppose I didn't feel I was worthy too before, but I think I may be worthy now," He smiles softly at her as the elevator stops and he gets out holding the doors back for her. "Do you think I could be worthy of my dear," he says looking at her with curiosity.
She steps out of the elevators and looks up at him as he lets the doors close. "Maybe...just maybe..." She says with a wicked snicker as she walks away.
Alastor smiles a bit looking hopeful. "Alright then my dear! I will be on stage to assist with your practice in a short while!"
She laughs a bit nodding and walking away into the construction of the fair.
