Chapter 22: The Death and The Revealing

The flask had a potion in it that took down my shield! I could see myself being tortured. And I could feel the pain. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs. But I would not show fear. I would not give in.

I was the new Chaos and I had to live up to my fathers standards. I was on the ground squirming in pain. From what I saw I was being whipped and than they would put poison in the wounds to make them boil. It felt like my back was going to melt. They injected me with twenty different kinds of potions and they ripped my heart right out of my chest. By this time I was almost screaming.

Although it wasn't happening to me right at that instant the projection of the void made me feel like this was acutely happening to me. Then a power came over me. I felt a new and rejuvenated. I stood up and looked down. I had grown over FORTY FEET!

I looked at Order and I knew that I had reached what my father thought was my full potential but I also had his full power. Then I herd a booming laugh. “You think that now that you have reached your full potential that you can defeat me. Well my nephew, the fight has only just begun.

We started to have an elemental battle. I lunged at him and drove my hand foreword. We fought for what seamed like years. But it was only a couple days. Every single one of Orders minions were defeated. “Your done Order, you have no one else to stand by you, your dead meat. Then my dream that I had along time ago started to become a reality.

I was about to kill him when he shouted. “Pearl kill this monstrosity for me will you?” Then Parill came out of the fog, it was Parill for sure but at the same time it wasn't. She looked at me and I could see the hate of armies in her eye's.

“How dare you try to kill my husband! you shall pay for that you insolent boy!” She spat at me. What was wrong with her? What was she doing?

“Parill, stop! Remember it's me Skylex.” For a moment her eye's flashed with recognition, yet as soon as it appeared, it disappeared.

“Wait, I know you.”For a moment I was almost giddy but what she said next almost broke my heart. “You're the brat who's been after my husbands job ever since he got it! How could you? After everything he's done for the universe! You are selfish and ungrateful little brat."

Then she started to attack me. I started to block. She had gotten better but so had I. I started to do new moves that Zella and I had created and I tried them on her. I didn't want to hurt her but it seemed like it would be the only way. In some of my favorite movies they always talk about the sacrifices in war that people have to make. But I didn't really know how true that was until today. This was going to be the hardest decision of my life.

I took a deep breath. Which option would I choose, I would've liked to think that I could stand for whats right and just kill her. But sadly I didn't take it. I could feel the sweat on my brow I just stood there with my head down waiting for the blow to come, but it never came. I looked up to see my savior. It was Zella looking more beautiful then ever, and she was looking right down at me.

We stood back to back fighting against Parill and Order. We fought when suddenly Zella found an opening and rammed her shield into Parills head. While I had my back turned to Order he stabbed me in the heart. I felt like my life was ending but because I was a Primordial I knew that I would have a little time before I died.

I estimated around twenty minutes. That meant that I had to suffer and watch Zella die at the same time. This was turning out to be a rotten day. And then I saw Zella defieat Order. I had no clue she was this powerful and yet she defeated him so quickly. Right before I was about to die I heard him confess to tampering with the gods minds to make them turn against me. I heard him say that he had made Apollo think that Athena was telling the truth. An then my vision turned black.
