"Alright Gang, yall ready for practice?" I asked when I exited the bathroom with slightly wet and messy hair strands dangling from my head.

"Duh, we all are waiting for you! You're taking so long to shower!" Mandy exclaimed.

"Looks like you found some time to play with my hulahoops, and broke my old phone that I placed at the table, didn't you?"

"Well, yes." Sarah said. "At least you have an excuse for why you needed to replace your phone, it's so old it couldn't handle another shatter."

"Welp there goes," Ed said. "I forgot bringing my violin, mind if I borrow yours?"

"No, go ahead, just don't break it. One of them needs to be tuned and the other needs its E string replaced. I haven't touched them in years."

"Nice! Are those your parents' violins? They smell and look old." Mandy gasped.

"Yes. It's been a while since any of them had been played. I had to bring them to the luthier's last weekend to fix the bridge. Tuning the piano is something I had to do every month or so, so yesterday, my mom sent some one to come over. I'm sorry if it left a bit of clutter in the room."

Sarah plainly stated, "That's fine. Anyways, where is this practice room of yours? It's impossible you have a large room here near the dining and living room."

"Follow me."

Downstairs, near the warehouse, I opened the door next to it and switched on the lights to reveal a stair case. As I set foot, the stairs creaked. "Be careful, it's a bit old." At long last, after struggling down the termite-infested wooden stairs, we reached the bottom. It was somewhat cold from the autumn weather, but with the heater and lamps on, it became very hospitable.

"Well, here it is, the practice room." I coughed. "It's a bit dusty in here."

The lights flickered furiously before eventually lighting up the whole room. As my friends went and tuned the violins, I asked Mandy for her phone and called Amanda.

"Amanda?"

"Hey, I found it alright, can you come here after you guys practice at 8?"

"Will try about that. Have you seen the dresses?"

"Yes, and mom is helping me iron them. You need to have it on you before 9 p.m.. The thing."

"I know, you're mom hates late night visits, but this is inevitable. I promise we'll be here as soon as we can. Thanks so much."

"Hey, good luck practicing OK?"

"Will do!"

The screen wrote "call over". I stared blankly for a few seconds before realizing all the violins had been tuned.

"I have the sheets if you still need them." I pointed out.

"Alright. The three of us might want them!" Mandy responded.

Ed suggested, "Alright, we have one go from start to finish and try to see what we lack OK?"

"Sure, I think that's a great idea." Sarah agreed.

"Alright. "

I gave the cue and we started off to quite a good start. I could hear a few pitches are off tune, especially between changes of key, but I decided to keep it for later. Also, the way I played was not light enough, it needed to have more pedalling in it. Mandy who had the first violin part was a little late in one of the sections, and there was a lack of crescendo. There was a lack of color in the tone. I was slightly disappointed, but it was overall okay, and only a few people like the teachers would notice the mistake.
