You've been dating Johnny for now 2 years. But it's been a few months that the joyful and playful boyfriend you had become a distant and quiet one. You were used to the fact that he was always talking to you when something used to bother him. And when you ask him what's wrong, he just kept being silent and ignore you.
You asked yourself if you did something wrong but nothing came to your mind. So you were just waiting that one day, maybe the Johnny you used to love will come back to you.
You were on your sofa, watching TV, waiting for him to come back from work. When you heard the door opening, you looked in that direction and saw him, removing his shoes. Then you just decided to do the same thing as he was doing to you : ignoring him.
He went to the living room and saw you.
"Hi", he said, heading to the kitchen counter to drink some water. You said nothing and don't pay attention to him while watching the TV. He was a bit confused by the fact that you didn't came to him for a hug. He headed back in the living room, and sat next to you.
"Y/N ?", he asked looking at you, waiting for you to make an eye-contact with him but nothing.
"...you ok ?", he asked, looking at you with worried eyes.
You sighed, clearly annoyed by the fact that he's only paying attention to you when you don't talk to him.
So you just got up from the sofa and went to your bedroom, leaving him in the room, speechless by your attitude.
You sat on your shared bed and looked at your phone. You didn't want to speak to him now. It wasn't a challenge anymore...It was what you really wanted, even if you still missing him and wanted anything to came back as before...but it seems to be far away from now...You laid on the side of the bed, when you heard a knock on the door, then Johnny entered the room. You didn't make any move, not even a single eye contact to see him and you keep scrolling on your phone. Johnny, seeing that you're still cold and distant, sat on the other side of the bed, his back facing you.
You did nothing until you started to hear him sniffles. Yes, he was crying. He hides his face in the palm of his hands, trying to mute his crying noise to not disturb you but he failed.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
Your heart broke into a million pieces seeing him like this...You couldn't keep it anymore...You came closer to him and snuggle your face on his back
"...I'm sorry...", you whispered, loud enough for Johnny to hear it. He suddenly turned back and pulled you into his embrace, still crying.
" Y/N !I thought you were really mad at me...why did you acted like this ?!"
- ...I am mad at you...And I should be the one asking you this...It's been 3 months since we didn't do something together...you didn't talk to me or staying with...When we're just the two of us, you keep ignoring me and being distant...Do you even still love me-"
Your words were cut off by his lips, crashing on yours, while his arms were making their way to your waist to pull you even more closer than you were before. You felt tears flowing down your red tinted cheeks, and grabbed the fabric of his shirt, due to the surprise kiss.
You missed his kisses so much. It felt like your first kiss again. You two pulled put of the kiss, to catch your breath, while Johnny swiped up your tears with his thumb.
"I'm sorry baby, I was so stressed because of the work, I didn't even realise how much it hurted you...I'll be a better boyfriend, I promise..."
- ...okay, I'll forgive you...
