The cycle still remains the same , just randomly talking to my class mates running errands for the SS2's, who pose a serious threat to my quiet ife and I don't like it , I tried as hard as possible to stay away from juniors and the SS3's , thank God I've been able to do that .
" temi "I heard someone called my name , I raised my head from my locker to look at the person calling my name , oh its kayode , I usually think kayode is a name for boys but what the heck anything is possible
" um, hey "I say seating upright on my class locker .
"Please can you follow me to the library , I want to borrow and return some books "she asked me , sure I would love to, since I couldn't even get myself to have a good break time sleep anyways I thought to myself , then realising I had spaced out for too long and that she was still starring at me waiting for an answer.
"Um yeah sure , let's go " I say as I stand up from my locker and follow her to the library, that reminds me, I have never gone to the school library, there goes my first, with an absolute stranger, I don't mean to be rude, I mean I know her name and stuff, and that she's in my class but nothing more than that.
Finally we get to the library and it's upstairs that's a really bad start for me and the school's library.
we enter the library which really is not so impressive ,majority of the books there are school book no novel or non school literature books unless you count the old , definately not recent news paper.
"What exactly do you want to borrow from this library, I don't really see what you see here" I asked her scrolling through the shelves which was obviously dusty.
it seems as if it's only two percent of the schools population that borrows book from this so called library, and she was obviously part of them, what a nerd I thought to myself smiling.
"There are some textbooks that they have in the library that they didn't give us, there it is " sure said add she picked one textbook, I couldn't stress myself to check out.
"Oh cool" she's definitely a nerd I think to myself, though a somewhat cute one, she had cuts glaring eyes one could definitely loose themselves in, lucky her,of average height and dark skinned, I could still tell her skin was fragile, wow, that's way too much noticing for a girl who doesn't plan on making any friends here, I tell myself . We finally go to the Library woman , she signed in her name to the registry and we finally leave the library.
" I never got to ask , which school did you come from " kayode asks me.
" liltlen college "I replied her
"Please can we branch the toilet?, I need to pee " she said , great another thing this girl is going to make me do.
I had never entered myself deep into any gist since I entered this school that would make me excort anyone to the toilet, absolutely great my second first in this school is with this nerd , absolutely great.
" sure, whatever "I say to her as we branch the school toilet, which by the way is nothing to take home about.
The walls are tiled but still fells as if it's just raw cement , how is that even possible , there were four sections , two out of the four were pit latrines and the remaining two were W.C, I really don't see any sense in that though either make ever thing W.C or make it pot latrines , this is just plain dum. Whose stupid idea was this ,I thought to myself .
"Thanks "she said to me smiling as we continued our walk to the class , " why do you usually sleep every break" she asked me.
"No reason , I just , em, love to sleep I guess" I say to her as we Climbed the stairs .
