"woah, this tastes good! i mean, i'm a good cook, but your cooking is definitely great." jennie hummed and gave jin a thumbs up.
seokjin chuckled before doing a chef's kiss.
"don't worry about her, she treats everyone like a close friend based on her 'radar.' she told us that she knows if someone's a bitch or not." jisoo pointed her fork at jennie before eating a bacon.
"well, that radar seems cool." yoongi nodded.
jennie giggled as she leaned on her seat.
"how about lisa, and chaeyoung? you girls seemed to be shy." namjoon raised an eyebrow.
"well- not really." lisa gave him a polite smile.
"the maknaes are shy at first, 'till you get to know them. they're literally your worst nightmares." jisoo held on her juice as she spoke.
"i remember you guys saying that you just moved here in daegu, may i ask why?" taehyung butted in the conversation.
"we're actually uhm, what's the appropriate word for, uh, troublemakers? rebels?" chaeyoung shrugged.
"what about your parents?" jimin asked in a low voice.
"it's actually complicated, jennie's parents are in new zealand, chaeyoung's were in australia, lisa's were in thailand. i'm adopted. we were here in seoul because we auditioned, but we didn't get to debut. so, since we grew a bond with each other, we lived together ever since." jisoo explained.
"i'm sorry about that." jimin scratched his neck
shyly."no, it's fine. how about you guys?" jennie gave them a warm gummy smile.
"we're best friends since highschool. it was just jimin and i, but then we met jungkook, who introduced us to namjoon hyung, who introduced us to yoongi hyung, hoseok hyung, and jin hyung." taehyung exhaled.
"jennie, you said you're from new zealand, right? haven't i met you when our schools had a meeting event?" namjoon asked.
"wait, you're right! i remember you! that's why you're so familiar." jennie covered her mouth in shock.
"it's a small world, after all." namjoon chuckled, his dimples appearing on his cheeks.
"you guys were trainees?" seokjin gaped.
"yeah, it's actually a waste of time. we were already used to be in seoul, but our debut kept getting delayed. so we left. we stayed there for what, 5 years?" lisa said as she blew her bangs.
"that sucks, so you guys must be finding a job now?" jungkook tilted his head in question.
"uh huh, by the way, if it's okay to ask.. are you guys jobless? y'all doesn't seem to be busy. but it looked like you're living comfortably." lisa's eyes widened as she looked around.
"not exactly, we're not rich, but we can still manage to live together." hoseok grinned.
"wow, that's good to know. by the way, thanks for the meal, jin oppa." chaeyoung bowed at him.
"no need formalities, we're friends now." seokjin smiled at the girls.
"you girls wanna hang? our house can still be a rental." seokjin asked.
"heck yes!"
