"You're actually gonna do it?" My voice, my stupid fucking voice, echoed in the empty night air.

"I'm actually gonna do it." He said, not sounding phased. "You don't need a note or anything, do you?"

"Are you afraid I won't remember you?" I asked, my heart beating loud enough that I was sure he could hear.

"I'm not afraid of anything, you and I both know that," I could hear the smirk on his lips, and I wanted to slap him.

"You don't have to do this," I said, my heart picking up pace to my emotions.

"I know," he said, not even glancing over his damn shoulder to look at me,"but I want to."

"I can't let you leave like this," I stammered. "I can't let you leave me here all alone." I know I'm a selfish bitch, but please, just stay...

"I have to go," he said, finally slipping in a tone of fear. "It's my time."

"I love you." I said, my heart beating so fast I couldn't hear the rushing water somewhere below us. "Okay?"

"I love you too," he said. "Now go. Let me do this."

"Christian," my voice gave out. The tears started rolling down my face. The anger started to make me swell. "Please don't do this,"

"You can't change my mind." He turned around then, a wide smike on his face. "I encourage your smiles, and I expect you won't cry."

"Stop," I laughed. How perfect for him to quote The End. (My Chemical Romance)

"I have to go." He said.

"No, you don't." I argued.

"I'm doing it, whether or not you're here." He bit his lip. He face was so pale. "I don't want you to watch."

"I'll never see you again after this," I said.

"You will, someday."

"Promise you have to do this? Promise this isn't some selfish thing to get out of paying rent or something?" I asked, my voice sounding desperate.

"I promise." He said, smiling. "Now go."

I went then. I turned my back on the boy who had always been the only thing holding me down.

I ran away from there, but I couldn't run fast enough. I heard  the splash as he hit the water, and soon after that, I heard to confused shouting of the people under the bridge.

He didn't even say Good Bye.
